I sincerely appreciate I always feel sorry for the jurors when they are not allowed to take notes, and I dont really know why such decision, it's obvious the Jury has to be able to remember all when it's time for decision. Weird! Btw can't the defense attorney use the word "prosecution or state" instead of "government"?
One point that doesn't make sense is why the defendants Dad is calling the victim every single day on his breaks to ask for updates? Was the victim deemed untrustworthy, or was the client (the defendants Dad) just controlling? His contractor who lives on the property misses a phone call, and immediately he's sending Grandma to the house? That seems fast and suspicious. What about THAT morning... THAT missed call... that pushed the family to react that quickly? What's the background because with ZERO context the states theory doesn't make sense to me. I understand the state doesn't have to provide a motive BUT there's a reason why Grandma is throwing acorns at windows.

Just read that luis' stepson shot up Brandon's dad's wedding just after luis' murder. Obviously, he needs to be locked up, but how utterly insensitive to have any kind of celebration when your son just murdered someone.

I want to know the motive. It is not required to defend ones self or to convict but id like to know at least a couple of ideas: sex, wrong paint job on ceiling, paint on rug by mistake, druggie asks preacher for money, etc.

Kinda obvious Brandon shot Luis, cannot imagine why but then guess we do need to imagine. The first witness cannot remember most, where is his police report they ALL have to write?? Usually whatever atty would say,,can I refresh your memory with your report? He doesn’t remember who the lead detective was? How could they get away not testing for gun residue? Why is the Dad having a wedding with his son just arrested & in jail? 🤔🤔Weird stuff. At least I can fast forward the trial! 😊
