this is a little silly comment but the second mod (the silence) actually uses an audio from an already existing horror game for the chase music. the game is called nun massacre and it’s created by puppet combo! they’re pretty known for they’re loud chase music, just thought i’d mention that. also! i think in the mod when it says “you’re making too much noise” you’re actually supposed to crouch for a few seconds. i could be wrong but! worth a try! i don’t really like the mod too much either, the instructions are pretty unclear and everything in it is just… blegh… but i think these are fair things to talk about anyways :3 this is a really good video! keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!
when i gave this mod a chance and watched a playthrough of it i was very dissapointed knowing this information already as a puppet combo fan.... smh. just make your own loud chase music at least
I wish future horror mods take more inspiration from creepypasta characters like Herobrine. You don't need to make a horror creature super loud and impossibly overpowered to be scary. Herobrine and Minecraft ARG horror is already very scary because of how uncanny it all is. The idea that you're not alone in your single player world, and something/someone similar to you is there with you, watching just beyond the fog. Great video taking a look at the current stock of horror Minecraft mods. I can't wait to see more!
How about a monster that is neutral towards you and only attack's if the player attacks it first. If the player attacks him they will stay hostile even in other worlds
The analog horror one thinks Loud = Scary, that's why I hate puppet combo allmost all of their games are annoying because of that reason, loud doesn't mean scary
Its scary but once you add in the Jujutsu kaisen mod and choose Gojo's cursed ability you literally have a force field around you where nothing can get close to you so that brings down the scariness
while I used to think that the goatman was pretty bad because it was loud, the silence just proves loud doesn't equals scary
Funny to think that the mod called “The Silence” is as fucking loud as getting shot by a cannon directly into your eardrums
all these "horror" mods and still nothing has topped the pure fear of hearing a creeper ignite right behind you
at this point even just the fog is scarier than the mods
