i had watched 2 other videos of how to crochet the mesh stitch and yours is the best Ive seen. it was slow enough for me to work with you and up close so I could see where to make the stitches. looking forward to other tutorials in the future
This is the best crochet mesh tutorial I’ve seen! Thank you!
Thank you Spicy Stitches - this tutorial was so easy to follow along with and simple to create. Really appreciate your time.
Margaret Davis thank you.
Thank you so much, demonstration and explanation clear to follow, this is the best best I have seen on RUclips, for someone who's just learning to crochet, thanks once more 💕👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you for this video. I had totally forgotten how to do this stich. Your instructions are so clear
This is the easiest tutorial I have found for this stitch. Thank you so much. I’m so excited to make something using this stitch. ❤️❤️
Picked this video as a refresher course for this stitch (has been a while since I used it and I forgot the multiples). I was so impressed, I watched the entire video. lol Very well done! Clearly spoken, explained and demonstrated. Easy to follow and understand. Thank you! Will now be checking out your other videos!
You're instructions are soooo clear!! Thank u!!
Thank you so much Spicy Stitches! I am not a crochet-er, but a knitter. I only know how to do a chain in crocheting, and I've messed around a bit, but don't know how to follow patterns. It was very helpful to see how to make a single crochet, and even see the way you put the yarn around your fingers. I appreciate the detail! Making a net now for a DIY Spike Ball.
Very easy to learn
Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial. The BEST!!!!
Your tutorial was so clear and easy to understand, I’ve been trying to figure out this stitch for ages but it always gets confusing when starting a new row, your video explained that part so well! ❤
I love this stitch and how well you explained it. Thank you, Ms. Spicy!!!!
Happy Crocheting

Thank you. Very easy to follow for a beginner.
Great tutorial. Thank you for sharing it on youtube. Crocheting it right now. Making a bicycle net for a bike basket out of t-shirt yarn. :)
Thank you Yvette!!
You made it look so easy. Thank you❤
Fabulous tutorial! I love your upbeat, confident and happy voice. :-) One question - after the intial chain stitch then first row which starts to make the loops; on the next row when you link in the chain stitch to the row below do you actually go through fifth stitch? From the video it looks like you go under it...?
Thank you for making this so simple!
Thank you….very nice
Well explained, thank you. 💐
Awesome stitch
Thank you
Beautiful!! thank you!
So pretty thank you for sharing ,
Ive watched all the mesh videos. I keep getting mixed up at the ends. Not any more. You are great at this. Keep going
how do you increase and decrease this pattern
Hey =)
I really love this pattern. just one question.... how can I decrease and increase with this pattern? it might be completely easy but I just can't figure it out. any help would be appreciated.
thank you for your tutorial :)
How do I decrease? I know this is simple, but I am stumped 😁 I have been doing sc back in the st I just finished until I am at the top,
Any tips on how to do a decrease?
Muchas Gracias por compartir este hermoso punto. Entendí la explicación (sin saber inglés) me gustó Mucho !!!!!!!!!
Gracias.
How do you increase and decrease
Wow Thanks! How would i do this in a round? I want to make a tube. is there another video you have of this?
Thank you for this! Question. I'm using this to make a dress with vertical panels. I find that the panels stretch considerably from the length of my foundation chain and the dress ends up being too long. How do I account for this? It seems to be this stitch in -particular that stretches.
ccraigwe Hi there, thanks for your comment and question. Unfortunately, there is not much you can do about the stretch. The lends itself to being stretchy no matter what you make.
How would I join for circle - waistband?
How do you decrease this stitch?
Can I make a blanket with this stitch
Can I do a blanket
hi do u no how to make a triangle with this shape
can you just the size of the diamonds? Because i want to do a sweater and i want then to be pretty big, maybe like 10 single v's? do i have change the numbers of skipping too?
it would be helpful if i could get a answer :)
🥰
Trouble with this stitch is that the edges/ sides of your work never stay straight. It’s best to secure that last crochet of a row into a stitch rather than the entire hole.
Hi There, will definitely try securing the stitch. Thank you.
This is NOT a STITCH, it is a MOTIF! No single stitch creates the the results!
