The key to intelligent is diversification.. A diversified portfolio minimise risk while in for a long term. It allows a certain amount of high-return on investment by offsetting possible risk through more stable alternatives.
Cash isn't king at all in this era and I think the best strategy is to start buying in slowly and then gradually increase the peace of buying as the price continues to drop. Don't catch the falling knife, lol. Long term investors know that's the market and economy will recover eventually, and investors should be positioned for such a rebound..

For the newbie if you are actually trading in the crypto space and you don't have a sound mentor. Then you are certainly going to get liquidated in 90% of your trades. Yeah that's the sad truth. I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I have lost alot trading all by myself without a guide. Everyone beware with the limit orders on Newton, they won't fill your orders and it won't let you cancel them. I have tons of LTC stuck in a limit order and the Newton exchange gives an error if I try to cancel the order.

Steve, I signed up with your link on Newton over 2 weeks ago, and it say it's being "verified". There is no way to call or email them to ask on status. But the only way to communicate with Newton is via their robotized system, which is frustratingly useless.
Try posting on their subreddit! They have people active on there who can escalate support issues.
What would you recommend as the most cyber secure exchange in terms of their security from hacking and insurance? Thanks!
Probably Wealthsimple because they have more money backing them and much more to lose in terms of reputation.

Newbie! I was looking to find a wallet that my employer can transfer btc to me so i can emt to my bank. Unfortunately im confused between wallet and exchange? Is it the same?
If you're in Canada, check out the netcoins crypto academy. You can learn all the basic fundamentals about cryptocurrency there. They also have a blog where you can find great articles to learn more about wallets and exchanges.

Yep! You can do limit buys on both but with Newton you have to do it on the computer. They don't have that functionality on the app yet.
