How can you not help but to love dogs! Your pups obviously really love you! You seem to really like these tarps. I don’t know why you would buy a tarp were the tie out breaks? I have many brands of tarps and I enjoy the flexibility they provide for camping. I have never heard of this brand in the States. Thanks for sharing!😊
Hello yes check out mountain laurel designs they a small cottage industry. Excellent kit. The failures are from 12 years old first generation DCF that lasted long time but DCF doesn't last like nylon poly etc. So I just used duct tape as the tarps do old. Yeah gotta love dogs. I am interested in a cricket but have a bit of a question. What is the measurement between the inner attachment points when pitched in a "standard" configuration? And possibly height off the ground?
I am wondering if I could pair it with a Yama y-zip bug bivy...
There are no corner hooks like on a mid snd ignore the inner mid panel hooks they for laundry lol and height is what about 1.4m ish
What is the name of inner on 24:50? Solomid XL or Duomid?
Off hand not sure
If dcf floor it's duomid inner and it has inverted T zip
If nylon D door it's SolomidXL inner
But but but they should BOTH cross fit ....
Hi Tony, great video. Looking at your different generations of shelters, I bet you’d know the answer to my question: do the dimensions of the new (2020) solomid xl inner fit into the older, shorter duomids? I have a duomid from 2016 or so, and I’m not sure if I can fit the new solo inner inside without sagging or being too close to the outer.

Tbh I've never tried putting my SolomidXL inner in duomid but it should fit
Unless I'm mistaken I don't think the duomid changed only solomid to SolomidXL
