Haha! So glad you watched the video 😂 it is next level random, I think it adds a little something that it's in Finnish and you can't understand the words. Great song though! Something a bit different, listen to "Solstafir - Otta" - Solstafir are an Icelandic band, started in black metal but are more "progressive rock" now. Hope you feel better soon man!
Glad your feeling better. Thanks for bringing back Discover 365! You could try Kvelertak from Norway if you're on a Scandinavian theme. Or, I think you'll like Sirenia, also from Norway, since you're liking symphonic metal.
I'm glad you're doing better! Stam1na is great, man. All their music videos are golden (but some will get copyright blocked without pausing). "Kuudet Raamit" has a 360 degree video and the song is insanely good, I highly recommend checking it out. BTW, Lääke (Finnish for medicine) pronunciation: "Lää" sounds like a stretched out "nah" with an L, so "laaah". "Ke" is like the Spanish "Que". I want to remind you, since I already requested once: Sentenced for February 18th, please, to commemorate the great guitarist/composer Miika Tenkula, whose time was cut way too short. Here's the link to the song Nepenthe again, just in case you need it. ruclips.net/video/d30WkJJYIGA/видео.html
The song itself is actually pretty deep, telling about one´s decision not to give up on life, but rather go on, perhaps due to the positive effects medication can have on one´s mind (the songs name "Lääke" means medication"). It´s pictured from point of view of a person, standing in the middle of a road, hearing a car coming towards him, but at first he can´t find a reason to go on and dodge it. As the song progresses and we see his thought process in the lyrics, the person comes to the conclusion "One more step, just one more step" meaning he wants to keep on living.
Song is about suffering mental health problems and considering seriously about committing suicide. Chorus is like "there is a medicine this for sure.." But meanwhile person is standing in the middle of a zebra crossing in red lights.
Great video! I’m a Japanese fan living in Helsinki. It’s really worth visiting Finland all the way to see them:) and lääke means medicine in Finnish:)
They really played around the fact that Rakel (Miss XXX in the show) is an adult movie star. Might help explain a bit the theming they have here :)
She was an adult movie star. I think she's a journalist nowadays.
It is also parody of old finnish Dating show Napakymppi from 80's-90's
