What's your opinion of the debating skills of these other Zionists?
      1- Mosab Yousef
      2- Shmuley Boteach
      3- Yishai Fleisher
4- Ben Shapiro (or maybe this an N/A? Lol)
      5- Alan Dershowitz
      6- Emily Schrader
      7- Lex Fridman
      8- Piers Morgan
      9- Terry Oved
I mean, just because I agree with them doesn't mean I think they won every single debate.

What an amazing woman Natasha is!!!💙 I agree that if people really cared they would call "for "Egypt to comply with its international law obligations. Those that it signed up to in the African Union Convention on Refugees. Egypt's responsibility to allow safe passage for refugees fleeing civil disorder in Gaza."
I'm shocked that an Arab Muslim country can keep people TRAPPED in a war zone. Egypt did not even allow the international community to set up a 'secured' humanitarian camp just inside Sinai where babies, children, mothers of small children, pregnant women, the sick and the elderly could be safely cared for. The problem is that the Islamic world wants more and more "human sacrifices" in order to make Israel look bad.
    I stand with Israel...🇮🇱🙏

…. 75 years of Nothing, Zilch, Nada, Niente, Rien, Nichts ….
The Palestinians and their leadership of gaza have wasted 75 years obsessing over the fact that Israel exists.
The same day the state of Israel was declared, the palestinians started a war.
They lost that war and haven’t accomplished anything for themselves since.
25 miles of Middle Eastern beach front has gone to waste. Should have been a fantastic place with Hotels, Clubs, Restaurants, Casinos, start-ups , film and music festivals, agri culture, innovative industries.
They have NOTHING, done NOTHING, achieved NOTHING, created NOTHING, developed NOTHING….. because they’re for some reason obsessed with Israel.
What a shocking, self inflicted waste.
We will not let Israel down and we will stand withe the State of Israel all the way !

    great job Natasha.
if this debate was not on the clock you would have wiped the floor with the opposition.
because like in every debate with this particular opposition, you and Douglas had to spend most of your time correcting the lies and half truths the other side presented.
also, i couldn't keep count, but almost every argument by the other side was a strawman argument.
further than that, they strawman the entire motion in question in numerous occasions, to: "if you criticize Israel you're an antisemite".

    • @AdelinaMuller
      @AdelinaMuller 2 месяца назад +1

As it is they wiped the floor with both of the Antisemites.‎
Yes, like in a horse race, when you have two different class horses, the longer this race would ‎have continued, the further behind Natasha and Douglass would have left them, simply for ‎being of a different class.‎

If you read some of Hassan's apologists who try to excuse his humiliation, they claim that ‎the crowd was against him. The opposite is true. In front of an impartial crowd, they would ‎have been lucky to get 1% of the votes.‎
Simply on debate rules, they would have lost for lying, for using the straw-man tactic, for ‎trying to redefine the motion, as Natasha pointed out, and for interrupting. Yes, it was a ‎debate between two skilled debaters and two bullies who tried to lie their way out of an ‎indefinable position.‎
If you are an anti-Zionist, you are an anti-Semite, ‎

    Brilliant clarity!
    One thing though-
In this short clip Natasha Hausdorff says Zionism doesn't state the necessary mixture of population.
    - Yet I think Zionism does to an extent and it should without any shame at all. The majority population is Jewish as a homeland for Jews whilst minorities have equal rights. Likewise England a majority Christian heritage country with an established British ethnic mixture- to state countries have a majority identity should come with no shame yet consensus politics is unfortunately assuming something more extreme and ugly just making such a statement. To make the statement sometimes indeed may be necessary.
Most ethnic minorities agree and support this country. Support is usually reciprocal between the majority identity population and its minorities- true for both UK and Israel- very acceptable! ... Yet with MainStream Media if a minority is against the established majority identity and its values, its wrongly assumed to be the fault of the majority population. In Israel the other factor is- Arabs are a very large minority, hardly a minority and Muslims are a world majority group with some collective views which create the geopolitical power of a majority- even in UK. Obviously there is alot of Anti Western and Anti Israel sentiment- its not a minority view in the region- obvious context strangely not considered by many commentators in UK- presumably whilst also silently aware of UK demographics and geopolitics.
The USA as the most powerful country is the anomaly in the discussion due to its own unique founding history and constitutional principles. USA is the result of colonial empires whereas e.g. Turkey, Italy , France, Spain, Greece, Persia, UK have been the central motherland hubs of empire at various times also producing mixtures of peoples from further afield. Nations have been defined based on a people in a particular territory either before imperial invasions or after dissintegration of empires.
Hence different nations founded for different reasons- some based on a people, some like USA the resultant mixture of colony and some a multiculture resultant from being the centre of a previous empire.
The assumption by academics and politicians who lean to the left seems to be false- to expect these countries, with these very different reasons for being, to have exactly the same criteria for multicultural immigration to create the same egalitarian society everywhere. This sanctimoneous expectation in extreme seems to be a form of colonialism in and of itself and goes against the existence of differences that make any country exist.
As Natasha says- Israel as an idea, state, country, nation has always been Anticolonial.
Pesach, Purim and Chanuka are just some of the Anticolonial festivals in the Jewish religion teaching principles for Jewish society- all of which involve the ideal of an independent country- Israel.- one of the few examples that obviously was never an expanding empire of such scale- the accusation of colonialism is therefore a classic Antisemitic style inversion
There is a tension in these discussions between conservatives who think the world is best organised as different national country states with international agreements - against - liberals, neo liberals and then all of the left who want the world to tend to less borders and less nations/ countries. The first set of people accept difference in humanity manifested in different countries free to choose the nature of their society. The second set think that- removing/ reducing definitions, borders and smaller countries -will create a better world for humanity to thrive even in a region where democracy hardly exists..
I think the first set are more realistic and closer to the reality of dynamic flexible nature unfixed from its neighbour's views formed by different environments. Where as the second set hold onto a belief which has been shown to ultimately reduce freedoms with structures that are too big to notice difference- which cannot be denied as is the weather system, geology and topography of different lands creating different situations and empathies. A balancing act is always is at play between these ideologies.
Any new country started on the basis of a
---- national right to self determination---
for a people with a commonality must have a majority of that particular ethnic people otherwise the phrase and raisen d'etre would be meaningless. - an attempt to destroy the identity of a country is an attempt to destroy the country. I know- its obvious!- it is just strange so many people act as if it isn't.
This counts for all new countries formed in 20th C after wider context conflict, end of colonial empires and 2 world wars, Holocaust. E.G. others-Jordan or Pakistan. Very weird how this inconvenient, overriding, overwhelming context is almost always left out of debates
In terms of nations, populations and their neighbours- size does matter.
The big manipulation or wilful mistake made by anti Zionists is to transfer words like Apartheid from one geopolitical context to a completely different one elsewhere for false extrapolation- to demonise- just as Antisemitism takes a seed of plausibility and then makes it falsely grotesque fooling people or creating convenient agreements in hatred.
'Indiginous' - another word misused for this land- this time by both sides. Being a crossroads between 3 continents ithis land was never isolated in the way indigenous peoples of Americas or Australia were for thousands of years.
The word is often therefore transported into this particular discussion from elsewhere. With thr Palestinian side colonialism is falsely usually implied as the context when 'indiginous' is conjoured- -whilst few people notice how inappropriate the word 'indiginous' is for the particular geography and transient history of land of Israel.
If definition and language are important, clarity is to say- Israel is the Jewish ancestral homeland.
-22 Arab ethnostates -extreme unequal versions- and not a teenth of the fuss in Western politics , institutions, media and university campuses.
This all agrees with Natasha Hausdorff's main point- about the hateful singling out of Israel for things most states do in representing a majority identity- as if that is negative - just because the identity happens to be Jewish- that singling out is Antisemitic.
The poor and manipulative assumption made by Israel haters is to suggest any mention of a homeland is akin to 1930s German politics stating ' the fatherland'- hence its ugly to state you have a homeland as if minorities do not count. This is an example of very low definition thinking.purposefully devoid of context- symptomatic of Antisemites/Anti zionists.
Most Palestinian activists in the West will pejoratively call Israel 'an ethnostate ' hatefuly as anathema to 'Progressive' politics. The fact there are 22 Arab ethnostates and Palestinian Arabs want a 23d Arab ethnostate is total lost on the useful idiots/ Palestinian activists in the West
    We can see it.

I took her definition to mean that there is not one set of values for Zionism. There are Zionists ‎of every creed, with different ideologies and beliefs. So, you might want one type of ‎population, I would want a different one, and Moshe Groise would prefer another. Yet we are ‎all Zionists because we agree on the one principle of the right of Jews for self-determination. I ‎would go further, even if the traitor Gideon Levi was to accept this principle, by definition, ‎even a traitor like him, holding on to the rest of his sick views, would be considered a Zionist. ‎The history of Zionism is filled with leftists who were true Zionists. Yes, in recent years Arab ‎murder attacks increased so drastically that more and more leftist Zionists are giving up on dreams and become more realistic. And ‎of course, crazy ones like Gideon (thankfully very few) go the other way. But to take us back ‎to the main point, Zionism is a coat of many colours, and only racists like Hassan would try to ‎pretend that it is an Ideology established on the definition they chose.‎

Strangely even Noam Chomsky has said he is a Zionist in a certain context.
Gideon Levy I think is Lord Levy's son . Lord Levy is a big Zionist who played a finance fund raising role for Tony Blair's New Labour always making efforts for UK / Israel diplomacy and support.

Related to Felix Hausdorff from maths? Or just another common name of the brilliant Jews like Feynman, Caruana, Fischer, Nepomniachtchi, Tal, Spassky, Vachier-Lagrave, Giri, Guramishvili, et al?

From what I read, Natasha's ancestors came from Leipzig, which is the same town where ‎Felix Hausdorff was from. But Natasha's family settled in Jerusalem in 1846. So, there is a ‎likelihood of family connection but with a several generations gap.‎

3rd: Douglas Murray is pretty good, but what's your opinion of the debating skills of these other Zionists?
    1- Mosab Yousef
    2- Shmuley Boteach
    3- Yishai Fleisher
4- Ben Shapiro (or maybe this an N/A? Lol)
    5- Alan Dershowitz
    6- Emily Schrader
    7- Lex Fridman
    8- Piers Morgan
    9- Terry Oved
I mean, just because I agree with them doesn't mean I think they won every single debate.

She meant that Palestinians don’t exist as a People but as the ones living in that Geographical area.
The term Palestinians is a pejorative term for the Jews.
No Jew calls himself/herself a Palestinian.

@luisdotgarcia Today Jews do not call themselves Palestinians, but before the state of Israel was reestablished, they did, It was the other way around.
The Jews were the Palestinians, and the Arabs were known as the local Arab population.
Look it up, look for the Palestinian national football team playing against Australia. All Jews.
There was even an "airliner" Air Palestine, in Hebrew.
Many Arabs objected to the name Palestine, or Palestina in Hebrew, because it was a synonym for The Land of Israel.
As was written in Hebrew on every Mandatory coin, note, stamp and any official paper you think of.

Remind those college students that the Jews in Palestine caught colonization and called for independence. That declaration as Natasha said in past gave them authority of the entire area controlled by the British. The Jews removed a colonial super power

Argument becomes impossible because truth claims are attacked as expressions of class interest, bigotry, or psychosis. The aim of jihad is to establish the whole world as Islamic. Jihad is a broad set of very effective methods of Political Islam for achieving the goal of subjugating Kafirs (all non-Muslims) and non-Islamic civilizations, which eventually results in their annihilation. The the ideology of Hamas is Political Islam.

She's so elegant, she never lets her anger dominate her. Her voice never cracks. She always tells the truth and she's genuinely sympathetic to palestinian Arabs and wants peace. That's why she can't be defeated. She actually cares more about innocent palestinian civilians than Mehdi does. Mehdi sees them as traitors and unislamic. He hates Israelis more than he cares for them.

Thank you so much for telling Gideon Levi off. He looks so miserable, disgruntled and negative like Norman Finkelstein (and other self hating Jews). Strangely, he has been somewhat missing from the TV panels in Israel, even the more leftist leaning ones; that should tell you something about the shift that is occuring in Israel.

Finkelstein is appallingly anti-Semitic. I honestly think he’s a psychiatric case: some sort of rebellion against the father which morphs into a hatred of authority and perpetual rebelliousness.
