- Flashback to a journey on board the Trivandrum Rajdhani Express, 14 years ago!
The NZM-TVC Rajdhani Express was delayed due to a landslide inside Konkan Railway territory because of heavy monsoon rain. The train arrived at Vasai Road more than 8 hours late and hopelessly out of path. What followed next was a blitzkrieg run to cover the 1300 odd kilometre distance in 16 hours!

@@nandkumarmadhekar2709 toaster is the nickname for WDP3A given by Locopilots as the cab on the radiator side would heat uncomfortably
Once there was a time when we used to see this colour pattern of train... First thought comes ohhh waao this is rajdhani.... That was the uniqueness. Now LHB Rajdhani is just looks like ordinary express train difficult to categorise. Indian railway should bring back the original colour to LHB

Really interesting to see a full LHB rake train back in 2006. ICF Rajdhani rakes have a special place in hearts of railway fans just like meter gauge. At the same watching these ICF rakes being replaced with modern LHB Coaches now creates mixed feelings and emotions. Really enjoyed your video. If you have video of interior of meter gauge First Class coach or AC coach please post that also.

I once travelled in DEL TVC Rajdhani. It changed to WDP3A from Panvel. Despite having LHB coaches it could not maintain decent speed. But in this video it seems WDP3 doing some justice to the letter P😅

What's the difference between then n now?? Majority ICF trains converted to LHB taglined for improved speeds, but is it?? We still struggling achieve 130 except few sections, while this was a regular speed fot RAJDHANI's decade back, IR must n should look after upgrading tracks to 160 n fencing the route, it's not that easy but still isn't impossible tooo!!

Was the coach naming convention different during those days ..Saw AS3, AS4 in your video...Never seen these coach codes now...
Yes, the 3A coaches were numbered as "AS1, AS2, etc."

@@abhinandandhar ,2 Tier was denoted A1,A2 and so on, First AC was denoted as H 1,2 and so on,it is being denoted in the same way,no change
