For this, I used a tube mic and another condenser and blended them together (2 tracks panned left) and then recorded the same thing and panned it right. 4 total tracks. The majority of the sound of an acoustic guitar recording comes from the actual acoustic guitar. I used a martin, which have nice low end and warmth. Unfortunately it's very had to get a good acoustic guitar sound without a high quality, good sounding acoustic guitar
Hey man! That's super simple, I can explain it here: All you do, in ableton anyway, is create a return track. On there, you can put whatever effects you like (Reverb for example), and then ableton will put a little slider on every track. If you turn that slider up on the guitar track, it sends that guitar track to that return track you made earlier. That way, you can send multiple things to the exact same reverb.
Hey man, what is it called on guitar at 00:12 where you have that quick pitch bend sound on the 3rd chord upward ‘do-da-da’? Trying to learn how to do that but don’t know what it’s called!
Ahh I think you’re talking about a “hammer on”. In this (I think, I just watched the first 2 seconds of the time marker) I played a Cadd9 chord. My pointer finger hammers on to the 2nd fret on the A string. So after I strum, it goes from no finger on the A string to a finger on the 2nd fret of the a string
I always come here to see you play guitar and produce but a lot of times you have it already recorded 🙃 would love it if you show you recording it!!
@@jmv6083 Can do!

I love Gracie’s songs! But this is more than I expected ✨
Hey this video is just what I’ve been looking for thank you! How did you record your guitar in to make it sound so clear?
