- Epic solo from one of the most underrated guitarist ever : Uli Jon Roth!
About bars #10 and #12 :
There is a little difference (one note) between both. Bar #10 of my video is the way bars #10 and #12 are played in the studio version and bar #12 is the way it's played on live versions. I decided to mix them both in this video.
Also about the end (bar #20) :
I play the whole solo with the end of the studio version. The end played on live versions is a bit different and makes easier the transition to the B5 of the verse, and it's also on the very end of this video.

I'm going to learn to play this or die trying. As far as solos go, it's honestly not that complicated. The hardest part is the string skipping section.

@@StephLeGratteux oh man ! What a mistake, to be honest I'd forgotten all about Uli as Mattias has been in the band over 40 years, yes Uli was highly rated, I can remember he did something called 'Electric Sun'
