If you look up a comet called Shoemaker Levi 9, you'll see the same thing happen to Jupiter. The comet wasn't hollow, Jupiter's gravity just tore it apart. Any object interacting with a more massive one has what's called a Roche Limit. This is how close it can get to the larger object before its gravity tears it apart. To put things simply, the side of the asteroid facing the planet isn't going fast enough to be on the path that it's at. The side facing away is going too fast for its altitude. This means that the planetside wants to fall into the planet while the other wants to fly away. This stretches the asteroid until it eventually breaks.

Its really not hard since you're given a chance to shoot the weak point repeatedly. You just fly away from him until he turns at you. Follow that pattern and he'll keep flying at you straight on.

No, Balze is better, since he is as good with much less combat experience. Gryphus one, was also a bit better, since in Aurelia-Lesath war there were much better missles for The Nemesis to defeat.
Ha. Blaze better than Cipher? That's a good one. Blaze was good, but canonically, Cipher was a superior Ace to many of the other Strangereal Aces (the only ones matching him would be Aces like Phoenix or Mobius 1). Blaze would still be a green rookie compared to the Demon Lord. Even his nickname as the Demon of Razgriz stems from the legend that Cipher inspired during the Belkan War (yep, the Demon of the North is highly alluded to being Cipher, even Zero is a remix of the Unsung War OST). Add in wingmen and you get higher levels of carnage that heavily tips towards Galm since Pixy is considered to be just as skilled as Cipher, evident by his ability to pilot the ADFX-02 with as much skill as he did and his achievement of bringing home a plane with only one remaining wing (hence the nickname Solo Wing). And while Gryphus 1 can also be considered as his equal, you have to remember that the Aurelia-Leasath war takes place 25 years after the Belkan War. Meaning that Gryphus 1 would most likely have access to more advanced aircraft technologies which would add to his already above average piloting skills. Put them both in equal jets, and the Demon Lord of the Round Table will more often than not come out on top. After all, Cipher did pride himself on being the Ace of dogfighting.
IMO Blaze's level should be similar to Talisman since they still require allies sometimes in beating the enemies. Mobius 1, Scarface 1, Gryphus 1, and Cipher are true aces since they can execute their missions very well when they are alone. But I guess Cipher could do the best job because he could outdone hundreds of top pilots in the area like B7R (Even though it has no connections to "The Gauntlet" where he defeats Mobius 1) like Grabacr Leader, Huckebein, and the other aces

It's partially because Cipher's and Wardog's stories both coincide with the Legend of Razgriz. As the war progressed, Cipher was seen as an unrelenting demon(earning the nickname Demon Lord of the Round Table) who rained death upon Belka, but with the end of the war, he "died", going into a "slumber" with the end of the war giving him no more reason to fight. However, when A World With No Boundaries popped up, he returned as the hero who would save the world from WWNB and V2. In fact, the lyrics for this song are all taken from The Unsung War (the song from the final mission in AC5), although they're reordered a lot(not that the listed lyrics for The Unsung War were even in order anyway), one of the reasons that I had to take some small liberties when writing down the translation, as it's not 1 to 1 and I don't speak latin. I highly recommend checking out Acepedia if you're interested in this stuff, there's a lot of interesting info and trivia to be found.
Cipher... Strangereal’s most skilled ace pilot ever... Better than Mobius 1, Blaze, Mihaly, Yellow 13, Grabacr 1, Gault 1 and Pixy... No One can’t match his abilities in dogfightning, whoever disagrees I have plenty lot of arguments to proof what im saying.
No other ace, has torn through the mighty Belkan air force the way Cipher did. No one will ever be better than him. Not even Blaze could do why Cipher did, as Belkans were much more difficult in 5. Heroes are remembered, but legends never die.
Cipher has shot down numerous belkan/a world with no boundaries squadrons and heck he even shot down his own wingmen by jousting to shoot his front intake so cipher is not only the aces of ace but more of a legendary ace and heck if cipher goes face to face with mihaly mihaly wouldnt even last until mission 18 on ace combat 7

Cipher was fighting for power that by the time this fight happened, Pixy was trying to see if he was worthy of such power. Both feared and respected by both the allies and Belkans, Cipher will still be considered the ace of aces in the ace combat's history book of modern air combat. Cause that pilot made himself a legend.
Best fighter duel of the whole series i thought i could waltz in and win against Pixy even though i did not want to kill my buddy but i got shot down in seconds because of that laser, not expecting it to be so accurate i knew it would be a tough fight it took me days to beat pixy the first time because while not bad i was not used to fighting such an advanced fighter and A.I. this along with possibly the best battle track of the game makes this stand out as my favorite dogfight of the entire series from 4 to assault horizon the ones that i have played
I doubt this would happen, but at least you can play it via pcsx2 emulator for now, latest versions run almost perfectly - especially if you have joystick to fly
I just got a new PS2 and the whole Ace Combat trilogy, and I am absolutely blown away by this game. It's so awesome finally having a PS2 and being able to experience these games for the first time.👍
Do yourself a favor and try to find a copy of the shooter game Black as soon as you can. It's an extremely good and memorable shooter game that was only released for the PS2 and Xbox in 2006. For whatever reason, they never released a port of it for the PC or a remake of it. It's one of the best games I ever played, god fucking dammit that shit is hot LOL
Also speaking of PS2 games, consider playing GTA Liberty City Stories. It was my first ever PS2 game (the disc came with the console) and I like to play it from time to time because it's a GTA game that doesn't take itself so seriously, the story in it is super fun and lighthearted (within the limits of what mafia crime allows LOL) You will understand when you play the "Mom" mission LOL

I think this is the best, as good as it gets. Much better than Agnus Dei. The atmosphere just hits different. Hush, Unsung war and Daredevil are pretty decent too.

In the gauntlet I would always find a way to face off against Mobius 1 in the B7R zone. And I would play this song as I did battle with Mobius 1. I'd even take him down with the Su37 in the eruisan yellow squadron colors.

In AC6, I mainly did 1v1 with sp weapons turned off. Just normal missiles, guns, and pure skill is all I needed. None of that QAAM bullshit.

It's partially because Cipher's and Wardog's stories both coincide with the Legend of Razgriz. As the war progressed, Cipher was seen as an unrelenting demon(earning the nickname Demon Lord of the Round Table) who rained death upon Belka, but with the end of the war, he "died", going into a "slumber" with the end of the war giving him no more reason to fight. However, when A World With No Boundaries popped up, he returned as the hero who would save the world from WWNB and V2.
In fact, the lyrics for this song are all taken from The Unsung War (the song from the final mission in AC5), although they're reordered a lot(not that the listed lyrics for The Unsung War were even in order anyway), one of the reasons that I had to take some small liberties when writing down the translation, as it's not 1 to 1 and I don't speak latin.
I highly recommend checking out Acepedia if you're interested in this stuff, there's a lot of interesting info and trivia to be found.

Cipher... Strangereal’s most skilled ace pilot ever... Better than Mobius 1, Blaze, Mihaly, Yellow 13, Grabacr 1, Gault 1 and Pixy... No One can’t match his abilities in dogfightning, whoever disagrees I have plenty lot of arguments to proof what im saying.
No other ace, has torn through the mighty Belkan air force the way Cipher did. No one will ever be better than him. Not even Blaze could do why Cipher did, as Belkans were much more difficult in 5.

Cipher has shot down numerous belkan/a world with no boundaries squadrons and heck he even shot down his own wingmen by jousting to shoot his front intake so cipher is not only the aces of ace but more of a legendary ace and heck if cipher goes face to face with mihaly mihaly wouldnt even last until mission 18 on ace combat 7

Cipher was fighting for power that by the time this fight happened, Pixy was trying to see if he was worthy of such power. Both feared and respected by both the allies and Belkans, Cipher will still be considered the ace of aces in the ace combat's history book of modern air combat. Cause that pilot made himself a legend.
Best fighter duel of the whole series i thought i could waltz in and win against Pixy even though i did not want to kill my buddy but i got shot down in seconds because of that laser, not expecting it to be so accurate i knew it would be a tough fight it took me days to beat pixy the first time because while not bad i was not used to fighting such an advanced fighter and A.I. this along with possibly the best battle track of the game makes this stand out as my favorite dogfight of the entire series from 4 to assault horizon the ones that i have played

Do yourself a favor and try to find a copy of the shooter game Black as soon as you can. It's an extremely good and memorable shooter game that was only released for the PS2 and Xbox in 2006. For whatever reason, they never released a port of it for the PC or a remake of it. It's one of the best games I ever played, god fucking dammit that shit is hot LOL
Also speaking of PS2 games, consider playing GTA Liberty City Stories. It was my first ever PS2 game (the disc came with the console) and I like to play it from time to time because it's a GTA game that doesn't take itself so seriously, the story in it is super fun and lighthearted (within the limits of what mafia crime allows LOL) You will understand when you play the "Mom" mission LOL

I think this is the best, as good as it gets. Much better than Agnus Dei. The atmosphere just hits different. Hush, Unsung war and Daredevil are pretty decent too.

In the gauntlet I would always find a way to face off against Mobius 1 in the B7R zone. And I would play this song as I did battle with Mobius 1. I'd even take him down with the Su37 in the eruisan yellow squadron colors.

For me I wish the aces of us has cipher and Pixy paint scheme or their f15 and for f22 aces in the us they uses mobius 1 or trigger paint scheme and for Russia since they mainly use su30sm make them all mihaly :P
