That's some of the biggest windrows I've seen in a long time. I'm happy to see that you didn't get stuck and very glad to see that your Ma and Pa returned safely. This is a better world with your family in it.
It's such a treat to be able to ride along and imagine what the farmer is doing in the fields around the Farmstead property in ND.
Thank you!
Ahhh silage time! Never had more fun watching someone drive back and forth.
Whenever I come across farming, it takes me down memory lane. Losing my farm to the hurricane Florence on September 2018 here in North Carolina dealth a huge jab. But with an influx of $32K monthly made my family happy one more time
God bless you and your family more abundantly
But how do you earn that much monthly? I'm genuinely curious
Big thanks to Rebecca Hern Mayer
She's a licensed broker here in the states
Her top notch guidance and expertise on the digital Agro market changed the game for me
Thank you, they will be some well fed cattles this winter!
I'm sorry to say that these visits are always too short.
He is just trying to help Cole!! 😊
Can you source a bunch of train car wheels and make yourself a couple silage Packers. (Yeah they won today) Seriously the make good silage packers.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sonne Farms Gate service, sounds like a great name for a Side Business since you guys have so much free time. LOL🤣🤣🤣
Love this channel. They don't try and sell me drinks and security systems. ❤
Thank you Sonne Farms!!!
Took some time for Dad to warm up.
Bet he's still a bit mad about being denied a chance to ride the Falls😅
Looking good Sonne Farms.
Really enjoy the video's. I feel like part of the family.
I sure miss working on the farm with my dad. Love watching the two of you.
Thank you Cole and Dad Brian for sharing everything.Good to see Dad Brian back.Hope he and Tammy had a good vacation.God bless you all .Thank you for sharing everything. I enjoy watching what all you do.
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always 🌞 Farms!!!!
Thanks for another great video Cole and Brian. It was interesting and enjoyable to watch.
The gates you installed are looking pretty darn good. Those new gates you got from the station look like good gates. Your drive thru gates are good gates also.
Nice welding by Cole. Your portable welder is really useful. The combination gates you did look really nice. Good work Cole and Brian.
Nice to have that drive thru gate.
Welcome back Brian and wife from your trip. Cole had things in order while you were gone. Welcome home!!!!!!!
Always enjoyed silage time. We had pit silos like you. Kind of enjoyed working the silage down in the pit. Your silage looks really nice. Lots of corn in it. You silo is filling fast. Nice job everyone.
Sonny was busy helping you. He is a good supervisor.
About it I guess. Thanks for everything. You both take care and be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
That bit Brian did, jumping up and down, was hysterical. Great video!
Love the silage/ grass cutting and harvest videos xx
We all missed you Mr Brian. Hope you had a great vacation.
What was that? 🤣You are great at putting a smile on a guy’s face, THX
Awesome video thanks
I was wondering why you still had the old barbed-wire gates. Now it doesn't matter why because you took one out.
That grass is going to produce some serious bales!! I was wondering if you were going to rake it. Another great video. Glad to see Brian back from vacation. Hope they had an awesome time.
Great job on the gates!! 95% with getting stuck or use of fire extinguisher (Cole) Chief Brian was on fire watch lol
Those cattle looked like they were waiting for a chance to jail break 😂😂😂
Fantastic Cole!! The gate system looks pretty darn good. Heck, I'd tell folks I built it if you werent watchin ;me. And I am glad you explained why you did it this way instead of that way.. I was kinda leanin toward that way until you explained it. Now I am sold on your way. That grass looked pretty darn good too. Hope it don't get enough rain to raise the water level there. As always it is a great joy to hang out with you guys and thanks for letting me do it. Blessings on all the Sonne family, stay safe now.
daddy's home!!!
I see Brian is recharged 😂
TIRE PRESSURE LOW!! DANGER! DANGER COLE SONNE!! RETURN TO BASE!!
Great job. Looking forward to forward to harvest
Thanks again fella's for the video.
It's good to see the brain has returned! You're an awesome guy! Excited for harvest!! Yahhhh!!
That’s a darn good looking South Dakota haircut! Shoutout to your stylist. 😊
Brian you are back from your vacation now it's time to work your butt off LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL
Pretty good Brian that vacation did you some good? Hey brother. Glad to see you guys able to get that good silage put up good job on that fence too. That was pretty awesome. You guys are rocking it out. Let’s pray the rest of the season goes uneventful, and all good for you. Thanks for the great video.
Is this the field that you guys dug the ditch into in December 2020? That ditch hadn't been tested until this year, what with the long drought.
You guys wouldn't happen to know anyone who sells drive over gates nation wide would you
Great video Cole. Brian hope you and Tammy had a good vacation. Glad the gate went on this way 😉❤️
Nice new gates ! 👍
Great video guys. Thank you very much
Oh man, your little one is going to love swinging on those gates, can't wait to watch!
This way works for me! 🤣 With Aloha...
You have put that welder to a lot of good use in the couple of years that you have had it.
Looks great , works fine as frog hair .....!
Hopefully you enjoyed your vacation wishing you both a safe and successful harvest.
Hi Cole, I have been wondering, what triggers the drive through gate to open when you drive through with a four wheeler or side by side and not when a cow pushes on it?
The gate looks awesome!
cows just dont try i guess
Packing silage, the most monotonous job ever.
Cole absolutely has it together and will get the job done, a young Jack of all trades. Thanks for your time you spend showing us how you do this job.
Thanks 👍
Ah daddy is home good to have ya back Brian
Welding next to all that dry brush? Uffda...
It's a beautiful thing isn't it?
I brought a bucket of water with
Cole got a haircut nice
Nice job Cole!!
Thanks and GOD BLESS
Looking at the bit at the end I couldn’t help but wonder if Brian was angling for a longer vacation. But it was cute!
LOL. “Big Tractor” …. “Tiny Dog”. ….. I like it! Keep things simple, eh?
Nice to see Brian back.
I'm glad he didn't try to go over the falls in a barrel like some people I've done in the past.
He must have had fun because he seems very happy. 😉👍
I'm new to this channel. It is a lot of work keeping up a big farm. I always thought farmers had a 3 month vacation time in the winter, I see now that's when you have to do all the annual maintenance on equipment and etc.
Pa is back and someone got a haircut, looks like a beautiful day there
Welcome back Brian........not the same without you!
Im sure that way would be good, but I think this way will work out just fine for you.
great video coke good to see brian hope you enjoyed the break
And there’s me thinking it was sherbet
Awesome video as always ! Always fun an educational to watch👍
Looking good nice job 👍
me thinks Brian ingested a bit too much of that Canadian water whilst on holiday
Ya know why you guys are my favorite You Tubers. Cuz you and Brain haven't changed a lick with all the fame and fortune.
At least you didn't do it the Uber way😊
Nice camera angles, Cole! Thanks for taking us along for the ride! I miss your intern riding along with you and Brian!
Always a good video.
Seeing you buysome gates rather than making them, made me think. How many gates do you have on the farm? Seems like Cole was making a bunch of them the last few years.
id guess 150
Beautiful work, Cole. ❤❤❤
Hey c o l e you should put some Runners underneath your pallet that holds your welder I hate to see you tip it off and land on the ground the runners will keep it from doing that
Obviously not necessary
Gate looks great !
Check out Edison Motors for semi ev conversion kits. Also for a air ride refer trailer stand alone power plant. The trailer can also charge ev's at storla. Haul down hanging aged 1/2 s to Iowa and back farmer grade beef and pork to storla. Put in a meat counter and market with close by food trucks/resturants to do reviews selling farmer grade meat. The more ground the more steaks and chops you'll sell. One day also ship online as a coop spoke. No supplier fills seats like your channel can and wife's love to eat out. Become a coop share holder. Hire a mechanic myguyver that also can do on farm pickups with the trailer. Load pallets of meat coming home. Ask subs for taste testing resturants and make deliveries on your way back to South Dakota. Those gates are awesome.
I bet that thing chops the rabbits
Cole, that looks like mighty dry scrub you're welding right next to ........ do you have fire mitigation on hand ? ......... just sayin .....
Brian I was hoping we would see the Sturgis Fire Department Tee shirts this year...
HI to all three of you guys from Indiana
What is the tiny dog's name ?
Sonny....
GATES 👍👍 no #9 wire needed there !! No belts slipping in that 😳😂hay ??? EASY BRAIN !! Thanks to everyone.
Hey Jeff been a while since I’ve commented so I was wondering if you have ever looked into a centrifuge type oil filter I have 988b’s which because of you I installed the slingshot turbos which helped my old girls carbon in oil counts and doubled oil change interval but me being me wanted better cause I put a centrifuge on my 7.3 powerstroke which now I went from 3500-4000 to almost 9000 before oil change so that got me researching long story short I found centrifuge oil filter for my 988’s and was amazed at the amount of soot and contaminants out of the oil and my engine oil stays a light brown cause of the centrifuge we clean the dome every 50 hrs or so and it’s amazing the amount of stuff that’s built up
Hey Guys, i was wondering why you liked the corn in that silage? Over here in Germany all farmers love their corn cracked or at least split, so that the cattle can take it better.
I really enjoy the on-site gate and fence welding fabrication videos. I was taught stick welding by my football coach in high school back in the 70's. There's not a month that goes by where I don't use those skills. The advent of powerful battery grinders, wire wheels, and impact drivers sure has made field metal repairs easier. Sounds like all farm communities need their own Storla Station.Kudos for keeping it open.
Bryan & Cole, what happened to our “song of the day” Did y’all tell us the reason you stopped ! Maybe, I just fell asleep in my tractor that one cool morning that I needed the heater on! No! Not yet!! Sure enjoy the Sonne Farm video
Brian, Cole, how good is your native grass hay compared to your planted grass hay? Comparable on protein? What brand are you drive through gates?
Cole, your dad is smart, now don't listen to everything he says😄😄😄
Y’all done good fellers, pops’ impression of the caveman was great😂y’all take care🇺🇸
So what percent moisture? Also if it’s dry, why are you not watering it down?
Thanks for the video regardless
Would you all concider getting any silos someday? Or are the bunks sufficient ❤😊?
Think Brian needs a v8 or even a snickers bar, who knows he might even need both. 😅
Awesome video Cole. 🚜🚜🚜
For people who do not believe in vacations, Brian's actions prove that everyone must get away from the day to day grind of life, at least once a year. You don't need to leave the country, just leave your area.
So many great gates. You can never have too many. I have to work on my welding skills
You did a great gate job. But, the ugly pine tree that you cut halfway and left it. Makes your gate so ugly.
I see why you did it this way instead of that way but have you thought about doing it the other way?
HOW WAS BUFFALO
This way? That way? Whichever one you choose, we'll know you didn't do it the "udder" way.
If cows learn to talk we are screwed - because they've been watching Everything we do. :)
I was wondering why you don't hang your gates higher with more clearance from the ground?
Finally decided to swing a gate, welcome to the 21st century
Would it be worth while to deepen the wet area to a stock pond reducing the area making less hazard for working the area?
