I built it. I used a four foot length of 4x4 and then used double sided coarse screws to mount the manzanita perches to it. Larry loves it!

urgulp birds like Larry are often bred in captivity. So the reality is they’d die if in the wild.

be flying in groups in the wild. What is it about the human species that we have to keep
wild animals captive in our homes and think it’s amusing.
I get your sentiment completely, but to these domesticated birds, their human families are their flock. Some species can't exist in the wild as their habitat has been destroyed. Though I believe San Francisco has a significant population of feral parrots.....
Some are literally bread in captivity. They are no longer wild when people hand raise them. -_- You take one of those hand raised birds and set them free outside. A lot of the time they will just DIE! Stop thinking with emotions.
