Thank you for the wonderful words you added to my work. I am very happy that you understand my work so accurately. I appreciate it very much! I look forward to seeing more of your oil pastel work.
@@OurPaintedLives realmente a sido un reto , ya que no se como mezclar los pigmentos, pero es extremadamente divertido ! Gracias por preguntar, soy un gran fan suyo Nico soy Colombiano pero vivo en Japón , I hope I can paint like you one day お疲れまだです。
Awesome video! If someone asked me who my favourite contemporary artist was Kouta Sasai and Nicolas Uribe could easily be first equal so I was very excited to see this. Frank Auerbach has also always been a favourite but funnily enough I've never liked Soutine. Looking at his paintings has always made my gut churn to the extant that I only get from him and Francis Bacon. They make me feel queasy in a unique but acutely unpleasant way. Perhaps I would love their work if I had a stronger stomach :) Really interesting to hear you talk about these artists!
I love Kouta Sasai’s paintings and drawings! Thank you for the talk. Haven’t tuned in in a long time to Painted Lives. I’m getting back to painting after 2 year block. I too love Soutine & Auerbach !
Hi! this is my first video of yours and I kinda felt like commenting. I really liked and as a very much absolute beginner the part of feeling lost and finding shapes putting them on paper felt very connective although the goal might be different, or rather yours is more specific while mine is more general (making art vs exploring expressionism).

As always, your humbleness and empathy are the key to unlock the depths of the artistic process. Love it ❤
