    Brilliant! Haven't seen this since I was a child - probably '70 or '71. For some reason made a big impression on me. Thanks to whoever posted this.

    Psychedelic Surfer Atlantic college Rib. The first of which all RNLI Ribs are based upon and still carry the Atlantic name.
    We all know now how seaworthy a Rib is, but then it was a first of its kind.😊

    I haven't seen this for years - I do remember enjoying these transmissions when there was nothing else on. I wonder who wrote the Music? And how did the winner spent the £17,000 prize (Perhaps as a deposit on a colour TV - they were pretty expensive in those days)

      Wow this brings back memories. Ironically we didn’t get a colour telly until 1974 so saw them all in black and white.
