I’m a field service guy for Siemens chemistry analyzers, This entire sketch is how I wish I could speak to my customers when I make service visits over problems that they caused due to negligence.
Rip Trevor Moore, I got to meet him at a show once when he let me to be a part of the sketch where they use audience members. He was so nice and outgoing. He was a legend. Rest easy Trevor.
This reminds of a lot of different stories where they put a lot of pressure on the main character who is the only one that can make a difference. I kind of wish they were more like Trevor in that way.
I would love a movie where the chosen one main character is constantly undercutting the seriousness of the situation by going off on an extremely petty rant about how neglectful/ignorant everyone has been.
And he was right. Whether or not you drown in a cruise ship is all dependent upon James Cameron. It really feels surreal that Trevor has died so young I was thrilled that he and the rest of the cast were doing video commentary. I was hoping for a reunion. I hope we get to find out how he died. It somehow makes it feel less concrete without a cause. Does anyone else feel that way? That before you know the CoD, it's just somehow not real? Or at least an incomplete story? Like novel without a final chapter., it just seems unfinished.
He knew what was wrong from the start. First thing they teach is look at the power source. Calls on empty tanks, dead batteries, so much. He was just hamming it up and padding hours.
Clark had an extremely disrespectful attitude, would rather argue with strangers by lording his knowledge over them rather than just doing his damn job, would rather take a break at the worst possible life-or-death situation than do the right thing and put in literally the minimum amount of effort to save several people, including himself, had his carelessness and bluntness straight up make a woman kill herself by him blowing the whole problem out of proportion, and according to the other commenter, absolute refusal to follow basic procedure. Clark is an asshole, no way around it.
I would legitimately love to know how many IT or repair jobs end up being resolved by putting a plug back into its socket, turning on a power strip, or changing to a different outlet.

how does a broken fuel pump lead to a sinking ship
It doesn't; the power strip wasn't turned on :3
