Trina, you need to call Spencer back because he is hurting, and he needs you. Esme is ready to jump his bones. Put your pride to the side, before you loose him.
What I learn from Friday's episode is that both Spencer and Trina are frustrated with the Esme situation and the fact that they don't have a clear way forward yet to eliminate from their midst the snake that is Esme. Deck is a trigger for Spencer because he is still very protective of Cam. Having said that, I am not excusing the use of violence by Spencer (the punching of Deck). There was a better way to handle that situation. When Spencer felt that Deck was getting to him, he should have pulled Trina aside and let her know that he did not want to deal with Deck , nor did he wanted them in their business. That would have allowed Trina and Spencer to go on their separate ways without incident. Trina and Spencer are a young couple, and they are allowed to make mistakes. The whole incident between them was not only due to Spencer punching Deck and not destroying the evidence as he agreed to do ( although I think Spencer was right to save the evidence), but about the unresolved anger and frustration that Trina is carrying around from her visit with Spencer at Laura's apartment. Spencer saw a glimpse of that anger when she said to his face "go sing your silly song to your baby brother so he can go to sleep." Then to add insult to injury, she stood by the door watching Spencer sing to Baby Ace, with Esme looking on. All this stuff makes her very angry at Spencer, but she has not spelled it out for him. In fact, she is pissed, but she is keeping it all from Spencer. She is speaking to all the wrong people about that anger and frustration. She spoke to Joss ( she is clueless if it is not about her and Deck), and then she spoke to mama snake(the slithering cold blooded mammal who shares shedding activities with Esme). Unfortunately, none of these people are named Spencer. Say it with me... Trina the object of your anger is Spencer, so go and speak to Spencer about it. Trina should also learn that man are clueless and blind sometime. Us women can be such mystery to them even when they live side by side with us all our lives ( Sorry guys. I mean no disrespect). That is lesson one for Trina. Lesson #2: Time for a planned schedule of quality time and activities with Spencer and Trina that is not subject to Esme's whim or the presence of Baby Ace (Sorry beautiful little baby, but your mom is as psychotic as Chucky (as in the movie Chucky). Spencer, if you hope to keep your brother and Trina, you must learn how to multitask. Right now, all of the burden of frustration seemed to have fallen on your girl's shoulder when it comes to Ace and Esme. Ace has a mother (or a sorry excuse for one, depending on how you want to look at the situation). He is not your son (dah! you dodged the proverbial bullet. Count your blessings boy). Let Esme take care of her child. She certainly knew how to work your father to get that child. Now that she got it, let her do her job and raise him. Trina you have taken most of the hit in your relationship. The way the writers had you sacrificing yourself for everyone is worthy of Sainthood. It's time for you to up the ante and let your man know what you are made up of. You maybe a petite woman, but you are more than a match for your man and he has been schooled in that respect. Stop being so freaking understanding about everything. Throw a temper tantrum or 2. Bat your eyelashes like you did when you went to visit Spencer at petonville. Walk up to your man and kiss him because you feel like it. Show your little devil side. After all, you are dealing with 2 devils of your own - your mom and Esme. From what I can see, they are cut from the same cloth. Esme is no competition for you ( as Spencer already told you at the elevator - she is like the imitation crab or the fake butter they put on popcorn). She is a female who has laid down with both father and son without batting an eyelash. We have a name for women like that, and it is not pretty. Spencer has chosen you and he has been in love with you forever. Now, claim your man like you were still on an adventure on the haunted star minus Victor, Ace, Dr. Obretch and the goons. LONG LIVE SPRINA.
Sooooo its ok now for Esme to be bursting into Spencer's room. So, if he had Trina in his room will she be doing the same thing. Why is it ok for her not leave his room and sit her a$$ down after he told her to leave. If this was the other way around it would've been a problem. Also, who is Esme to demand answers from Sprina. Why is Spencer even entertaining her.
You were so on point! And it was worth all the messiness to see Spencer and Trina finally come together confessing their love for each other both verbally and physically. It was Perfection! Thanks to the new fill in writers, the story lines have been awakened refreshed and absolutely restored my confidence and interest. Bravo! Bravo! Thanks for this eye opening post. 🙏🏾♥️
I just started watching this show again. If they put Spencer and Esme together I am done. She drugged Trina, recorded Joss and Cam and so much more. I will be done.
I really hate what the writers are doing, but I believe this is a test for Sprina fans to see how far they can irritate and frustrate us to decrease the popularity of Sprina and make us turn our backs on this beautiful couple. If we do that (turn our back on Sprina), then the writers will have a legitimate way to justify bringing Esmer and Spencer back for real. The writers are playing with us and are using all kinds of reverse psychology to trick us into abandoning the Fandom for Sprina, thereby creating a justifiable way for Esme to get in there - do not give the writers that power. Do not abandon Sprina out of frustration. I am frustrated too, but I know they're playing with us. I will not give the writers the satisfaction of walking away from Sprina because of this constant Esme storyline. As much as I cringe this storyline, I will not give in to the writers cowardice. If they want to try and put Spencer and Esme together, I will not help them with this unholy union by walking away out of frustration, as this is the time that Sprina needs their fans the most. I know that the blood pressure for some of you are off the chart and that some of you are exhaling fire through your nose like a dragon. I also know that some of you must be spitting four letter words a mile a minute, but this is no time to give up on Sprina. If we do, we would playing right into the writers manipulative hands. Remember, the writers have purposely mixed up things so that Sprina is being assaulted from all sides. On the one hand, you have her mother the snake plotting and planning with Esme, and, on the other hand, you have Esme gunning for Spencer by using Ace. Oh! let's not forget that Trina is still showing trust in her mother by spilling to her that they were looking for evidence against Esme. Telling her mother that information is like telling Esme directly herself. The writers have Sprina in a grip that can cause a lot of us to walk away from GH, but we cannot do that and become a victim of their strategy to make Esme the main focus in Sprina's life. Sprina needs us more than ever to be there for them. For some of us we consider Sprina to be family, just like NAC and Taby have expressed that they consider their fans to be a part of their family. Would we abandon our families in their time of need!...of course not. NAC and Tabyana are only doing what they are contracted to do. They cannot change the direction that the writers wants to lead them in...but you know who can! We, the fans can. Remember folks, Sprina is where it is today at the height of its popularity because we the fans put them there, period. We the fans did it. We the fans have that power. We the fans drive the agenda with our devotion to Sprina. We the fans made Trina what it is today, not the writers. In fact, the writing for Sprina has been pretty lousy since their adventure on the haunted star ended. Their story is being told in drips. Are we going to let the writers drive us away just when Sprina need us the most? answer: NO, HELL NO! We need to stand in solidarity with Sprina more than ever. The fans made Sprina what it is today, and we will not allow the writers to dismantle our hard work. Fandom please hang on to your beloved Sprina. No matter what the writers try to do, I will continue to support Sprina by tuning in everyday, even if I have to bite down on my tongue. I am here for Sprina. Writers you will not drive me away from this beautiful love story that much of GH's audience exclusively tune in to see every day. Now, I want to address Spencer and Trina. Before I do so though, I want to say something about Porsha. Porsha you are a cold, calculating slithering snake that shares more personality traits with Esme (your daughter's enemy and nemesis) than you do your own daughter. You are both psychopathic narcissist who lives in a fantasy world. Porsha you deserve what Curtis did to you. I will continue my comments via a separate commentary.
I do find their dumb writing frustrating because I know they can do better. In fact, they have created some great writing for this couple... Trina's visit to Petonville to see Spencer; Spencer's interruption of Rory and Trina's date the first night he came home from prison and uncle Victor took him to dinner; their first kiss during mama snake Porsha's wedding; Spencer's visit to Trina"s house during Christmas after Rory's death; Brit's birthday party; their hug at the hospital after the first kiss; their kiss after Trina's heart to heart talk with Marshall; their interaction at the Nurse"s Ball where they agreed they were a couple; everything that happened between them at the haunted star that brought them ever so close together, exposed the breathtaking depth of their love for each other and, gave us fans such a thrill; and finally; Trina's epic anti-gravity leap into Spencer's arms. All those things should give us hope, in spite of the writers.

From the time I was a kid catching clips here & there while my Older Sister watched this show; to within the last few years PRIOR TO SPRINA.... I could give TWO 💩💩 about the show in general. THAT all changed JULY,2021 & I HAVEN'T LOOKED BACK !!! Your "loyalty" has impressed me VERY MUCH.... Enough to hang onto HOPE that their storyline IMPROVES FOR THE BETTER. NAC has EXACTLY a year left on his contract; and I WOULD HATE for him to leave on unresolved circumstances regarding SPRINA Because I know he personally shipps Spencer & Trina as a couple. There is ONE THING I'm conflicted with though. If we tune in to show SUPPORT FOR SPRINA.... I fear the show will TAKE ADVANTAGE of that fact to BOOST RATINGS for July Sweeps. YET, if we show our displeasure of the storyline by NOT WATCHING GH, they'll just "Butcher" their romance as if it NEVER existed. It's like he's coming down and flaring up at anything that disturbs him. This was Spencer as The Beast, and Trina as princess Jasmine isn't having any of it. Esme is acting as Belle waltzing in worried, wiping his wounds and sharing her sympathy about his troubled past. This all seems very Ursula as Vanessa to me.
Trust me, you are not the only one. Hang in there though, Sprina deserved better...and I believe that there is hope yet for the writers. When Trina was speaking to her mom at the hospital after she angrily left Spencer at the bar, her mom let it slip that Spencer had agreed to go to parenting class with Esme. In her anger, I don't think that Trina realized the significance of that information. But I am hoping that when Trina calmed down and resume conversation with Spencer, she will remember what her mother had said and proceed to address it with Spencer in the following manner: Trina: Spencer, the other day when I left you at the bar, I passed by the hospital to visit with my mom and she told me that you agreed to take a parenting class with Esme. Spencer: well, Esme asked me after I got home from the bar and I said that I would do it for Ace. Trina: If Esme just asked about it after you got home, how did my mom find out about an agreement that you just made when she was not there with you and Esme. Did you talk to my mom about taking a parenting class! Spencer: No, absolutely not. I never discussed anything like that with your mom. Trina: Then how does she know about an agreement that she was not part of. How did she become privy to such information! Spencer: Beats me. I have no idea how she would know about this agreement that I just now made with Esme. Oh, oh my God, do you suppose that is something that her and Esme communicated about. Trina: Spencer, why would my mother be in communication with Esme. She hates Esme for what she did to me. No, no, that cannot be. Spencer: what other explanation is there? Trina: I don't know. I know that it's no secret that she disapprove of our relationship. Spencer: That is the truth. Remember at Curtis' birthday when she was reading me the riot act about how taking care of Ace is a great responsibility and that because I am so young that I would not have time for anything else, meaning I would have no time for you. Do you remember that! Trina: I do. I remember very clearly. You assured her that you would make time for me. Spencer: That's right. Remember how skeptical she looked when I said that. Trina: I remember. Spencer, what are you getting at? Spencer: It just dawn on me Trina. Your mom really disapprove of our relationship, doesn't she! Trina: Yes, I said that already. Spencer: Trina remember your mom's reaction on the day you were waiting to take the DNA test and you said that you love all of us and that you were happy to have so many people in your life to pick you up if you fall. She was not very happy about us that day. Trina: yes, I remember. Come to think about it, she had some pretty odd respone to our conversation that day. Spencer: You don't suppose your mom had a conversation with Esme about the parenting class. Oh my God, oh no, how else would she have known this information. Oh my God Trina, I don't want to go there. Trina: Let's go there. We need to know how she got that information. Spencer: Are you sure you want to go there? Trina: I am sure. We have to find out the truth. My mom kept the identity of my father from me and lied to me for 20 years, I will not stand for another betrayal. Spencer, we need to know and we need to know now. Spencer: Trina, you look very upset. Maybe we should let it go. Oh my God, can this really be! How, when, where! Trina: Trina was quietly crying and then she suddenly yelled to Spencer... Spencer, I can't breathe. She (her mother) did it to me again. At this point, Spencer was holding and consoling her, while she bury her face in his chest, with his arm all around her. She cried for what seemed like hours, the whole while nesting in Spencer's arms. Trina: After the sobbing stopped, she suddenly lifted her head from Spencer's chest, and in a whisper, she asked him this question: Spencer, what's wrong with me? Spencer: looking at her straight in the eyes, he whispered, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. You are the smartest, sweetest and the most honest person I know. Trina Robinson, I love you. Did you hear me Trina Robinson, I love you and I will not allow anyone to hurt you...not even the woman you call mom. As Trina looks into Spencer' s eyes, with tears streaming down her face, she whispered, I love you too Spencer. Before she could say anything else, Spencer kissed her passionately. As they lovingly looked into each other's eyes, without taking his gaze off her, Spencer gently turned off the lamp at the bedside and they disappeared into the darkness of the night. I have been trying to be patient but I think the writers just don't want them really together....not sure why. There's not much time. NAC has close to a year on his contract but a. the story is slower than snails and b. as soon as the writer strike is over he has a leave of absence to film that Menendez thing.
I may not be able to stomach these scenes but I am not giving up on Sprina. I know it’s going to get worse than this because GH loves unlimited amount of angst, so I’ll buckle up. But I know Sprina is the end game, no matter what!!!!!
Please don't give up, I am not because this couple is magical. I do not care what others might think, something extra special about this Twin Flame and they will find each other.

Trina has to get rid of spencer soon you can tell she’s getting tired of him and esme. She needs to break up with him within July. The writers have took advantage of sprina fans kindness and dedication to this couple. Obviously the writers played everyone and never intended to actually put Trina and spencer together all this build up for nothing. No wonder nac looked into another projects and shortly taby will too if not already. I’ve lost all interest in sprina after today.

I still think the writers are testing the fans to see how much liberty they can take to create a triangle between Esme, Trina and Spencer. You all do realize that Sprina has gotten so far because of all of us fans. The popularity of Sprina is 100 percent fan made. They are the most popular couple on daytime because of the fans. That has not changed. The fans are still the ones that drives the narrative on the popularity of this couple and GH as a whole. So do not give up on Sprina. The fans are a force to be reckoned with, and, we must never forget that. While the writers are on their stupid trip, Sprina will need us more than ever as a support system to re-direct the tides. So, do not let the writers manipulation drive you away. The writers are milking the storyline by using Esme like a monkey wrench between Sprina"s relationship because of the very fact that Sprina is hugely popular. I believe that the writers wants to create a certain tension between the characters to make us believe that Spencer and Esme can be an item, when in fact there is no there, there. In other words they are creating a situation to test our tolerance as fans. If we allow our emotion to get the better of us after Friday's episode of GH and walk away from this beatiful couple's story, then we would have surely let Sprina down, while handing a victory to the writers and Esme. This is a test, and we must not fail it by turning away from Sprina out of frustration and anger. I for one will hang in there with Sprina until the writers are forced to come to their senses by the fandom. After all, how much more stupid can the writers get without spiking their own nose. Okay let’s not forget esme literally slept with Spencer’s father and has a baby with Nicholas…. I don’t like esme and I don’t like where I think this is going. She drugged and framed Trina, she recorded Joss and Cam having sex. If Esme had it her way Trina would’ve gone to Jail and had to register as a sex offender. That’s the reason why most people hate her. The fact that the GH writers are trying to redeem her is disrespectful and disgusting. They went too far with this character and they think us fans will just forget what she did.

I hear you but the truth is if the writers want to derail Sprina they will. No Couple last forever on a Soap that is just facts the problem is Sprina has not had a fair shot at portraying a real couple. You gotta wonder why? The evil Esme character played by Avery Pohl I enjoy you need a villain she plays it well but the writers took her character too far. Having her sleep with Spencer’s father and then getting pregnant was too rachet. I’m sure some “viewers” didn’t like that and now to redeem her character they have to sacrifice Sprina. It will be interesting to see what happens to the ratings.
It’s a soap opera y’all. They’re full of drama and they get the audience hooked in and feeling all kinds of emotions. They’re doing their jobs. Some of y’all say you gone stop watching if they put them back together, well then are you even a true fan of the show? Who wants to watch a show that doesn’t have anything juicy going on? I in fact love a bad character. That’s what keep you entertained. If everything went right all the time, then the show would be boring. No one has the perfect relationship so why show it. If you hate Esme so much for drugging Trina, then I hope you hate Ava for hitting Nicolas over the head and hiding the fact that she did so from Spencer. I’m here for all the drama between Esme, Spencer, and Trina. Eventually they got to mix them up like they did all of the other characters whose been with everybody. Some of y’all think Spencer and Joss gone end up together. Well you got to stay tuned in to see how everything plays out. Shoot Michael stole Willow from Chase and now Chase is with Brooklyn and we love both couples. Just go with it!
Nah, we are not simply going to go with it. The show had fans invested in storyline for Sprina. For 2 years, fans invested in them, promoted them, and celebrated them. When they finally become a couple, you separate them? I am not giving up just yet, but simply taking a break. But I don't anyone who wants to stop watching because it would seem the show used Sprina fans. Personally, I am a fan of the couple, not the show. The show didn't even give them a chance to be a couple before inserting Esme who he has a shared history and a baby brother. Its laughable.
I agree with much of what you say. It is after all a Soap but I think the problem is GH stops just shy of allowing Spencer and Trina to have a real RELATIONSHIP. People want to see this Sprina pairing take it to the next level at least for a minute! 😂

People who only watching the show for Sprina do you, but I’m here for the whole show and Esme is included. There’s no hero without a villain and frankly it’s quite boring to see a TV couple going about there day so in love with no drama in their life. Having sex left and right like Joss and Dex, going on romantic dates, talking about college, or helping with Ace when she really don’t want to. Where’s the drama to keep us entertained?

What I learn from Friday's episode is that both Spencer and Trina are frustrated with the Esme situation and the fact that they don't have a clear way forward yet to eliminate from their midst the snake that is Esme.
Deck is a trigger for Spencer because he is still very protective of Cam. Having said that, I am not excusing the use of violence by Spencer (the punching of Deck). There was a better way to handle that situation. When Spencer felt that Deck was getting to him, he should have pulled Trina aside and let her know that he did not want to deal with Deck , nor did he wanted them in their business. That would have allowed Trina and Spencer to go on their separate ways without incident.
Trina and Spencer are a young couple, and they are allowed to make mistakes. The whole incident between them was not only due to Spencer punching Deck and not destroying the evidence as he agreed to do ( although I think Spencer was right to save the evidence), but about the unresolved anger and frustration that Trina is carrying around from her visit with Spencer at Laura's apartment. Spencer saw a glimpse of that anger when she said to his face "go sing your silly song to your baby brother so he can go to sleep." Then to add insult to injury, she stood by the door watching Spencer sing to Baby Ace, with Esme looking on. All this stuff makes her very angry at Spencer, but she has not spelled it out for him. In fact, she is pissed, but she is keeping it all from Spencer. She is speaking to all the wrong people about that anger and frustration. She spoke to Joss ( she is clueless if it is not about her and Deck), and then she spoke to mama snake(the slithering cold blooded mammal who shares shedding activities with Esme). Unfortunately, none of these people are named Spencer. Say it with me... Trina the object of your anger is Spencer, so go and speak to Spencer about it. Trina should also learn that man are clueless and blind sometime. Us women can be such mystery to them even when they live side by side with us all our lives ( Sorry guys. I mean no disrespect). That is lesson one for Trina.
Lesson #2: Time for a planned schedule of quality time and activities with Spencer and Trina that is not subject to Esme's whim or the presence of Baby Ace (Sorry beautiful little baby, but your mom is as psychotic as Chucky (as in the movie Chucky).
Spencer, if you hope to keep your brother and Trina, you must learn how to multitask. Right now, all of the burden of frustration seemed to have fallen on your girl's shoulder when it comes to Ace and Esme. Ace has a mother (or a sorry excuse for one, depending on how you want to look at the situation). He is not your son (dah! you dodged the proverbial bullet. Count your blessings boy). Let Esme take care of her child. She certainly knew how to work your father to get that child. Now that she got it, let her do her job and raise him.
Trina you have taken most of the hit in your relationship. The way the writers had you sacrificing yourself for everyone is worthy of Sainthood. It's time for you to up the ante and let your man know what you are made up of. You maybe a petite woman, but you are more than a match for your man and he has been schooled in that respect. Stop being so freaking understanding about everything. Throw a temper tantrum or 2. Bat your eyelashes like you did when you went to visit Spencer at petonville. Walk up to your man and kiss him because you feel like it. Show your little devil side. After all, you are dealing with 2 devils of your own - your mom and Esme. From what I can see, they are cut from the same cloth.
Esme is no competition for you ( as Spencer already told you at the elevator - she is like the imitation crab or the fake butter they put on popcorn). She is a female who has laid down with both father and son without batting an eyelash. We have a name for women like that, and it is not pretty. Spencer has chosen you and he has been in love with you forever. Now, claim your man like you were still on an adventure on the haunted star minus Victor, Ace, Dr. Obretch and the goons.

I really hate what the writers are doing, but I believe this is a test for Sprina fans to see how far they can irritate and frustrate us to decrease the popularity of Sprina and make us turn our backs on this beautiful couple. If we do that (turn our back on Sprina), then the writers will have a legitimate way to justify bringing Esmer and Spencer back for real. The writers are playing with us and are using all kinds of reverse psychology to trick us into abandoning the Fandom for Sprina, thereby creating a justifiable way for Esme to get in there - do not give the writers that power. Do not abandon Sprina out of frustration. I am frustrated too, but I know they're playing with us. I will not give the writers the satisfaction of walking away from Sprina because of this constant Esme storyline. As much as I cringe this storyline, I will not give in to the writers cowardice. If they want to try and put Spencer and Esme together, I will not help them with this unholy union by walking away out of frustration, as this is the time that Sprina needs their fans the most.
I know that the blood pressure for some of you are off the chart and that some of you are exhaling fire through your nose like a dragon. I also know that some of you must be spitting four letter words a mile a minute, but this is no time to give up on Sprina. If we do, we would playing right into the writers manipulative hands.
Remember, the writers have purposely mixed up things so that Sprina is being assaulted from all sides. On the one hand, you have her mother the snake plotting and planning with Esme, and, on the other hand, you have Esme gunning for Spencer by using Ace. Oh! let's not forget that Trina is still showing trust in her mother by spilling to her that they were looking for evidence against Esme. Telling her mother that information is like telling Esme directly herself.
The writers have Sprina in a grip that can cause a lot of us to walk away from GH, but we cannot do that and become a victim of their strategy to make Esme the main focus in Sprina's life. Sprina needs us more than ever to be there for them. For some of us we consider Sprina to be family, just like NAC and Taby have expressed that they consider their fans to be a part of their family. Would we abandon our families in their time of need!...of course not.
NAC and Tabyana are only doing what they are contracted to do. They cannot change the direction that the writers wants to lead them in...but you know who can! We, the fans can. Remember folks, Sprina is where it is today at the height of its popularity because we the fans put them there, period. We the fans did it. We the fans have that power. We the fans drive the agenda with our devotion to Sprina. We the fans made Trina what it is today, not the writers. In fact, the writing for Sprina has been pretty lousy since their adventure on the haunted star ended. Their story is being told in drips.
Are we going to let the writers drive us away just when Sprina need us the most? answer: NO, HELL NO! We need to stand in solidarity with Sprina more than ever. The fans made Sprina what it is today, and we will not allow the writers to dismantle our hard work. Fandom please hang on to your beloved Sprina.
No matter what the writers try to do, I will continue to support Sprina by tuning in everyday, even if I have to bite down on my tongue. I am here for Sprina. Writers you will not drive me away from this beautiful love story that much of GH's audience exclusively tune in to see every day.
Now, I want to address Spencer and Trina. Before I do so though, I want to say something about Porsha. Porsha you are a cold, calculating slithering snake that shares more personality traits with Esme (your daughter's enemy and nemesis) than you do your own daughter. You are both psychopathic narcissist who lives in a fantasy world. Porsha you deserve what Curtis did to you.

Frustrating (No) Dum writing (yes)
I do find their dumb writing frustrating because I know they can do better. In fact, they have created some great writing for this couple... Trina's visit to Petonville to see Spencer; Spencer's interruption of Rory and Trina's date the first night he came home from prison and uncle Victor took him to dinner; their first kiss during mama snake Porsha's wedding; Spencer's visit to Trina"s house during Christmas after Rory's death; Brit's birthday party; their hug at the hospital after the first kiss; their kiss after Trina's heart to heart talk with Marshall; their interaction at the Nurse"s Ball where they agreed they were a couple; everything that happened between them at the haunted star that brought them ever so close together, exposed the breathtaking depth of their love for each other and, gave us fans such a thrill; and finally; Trina's epic anti-gravity leap into Spencer's arms. All those things should give us hope, in spite of the writers.
Stated so well and thanks for your overview of Sprina. I am Team Sprina and have faith that their love will endure into eternity. It's like he's coming down and flaring up at anything that disturbs him. This was Spencer as The Beast, and Trina as princess Jasmine isn't having any of it. Esme is acting as Belle waltzing in worried, wiping his wounds and sharing her sympathy about his troubled past. This all seems very Ursula as Vanessa to me.

When Trina was speaking to her mom at the hospital after she angrily left Spencer at the bar, her mom let it slip that Spencer had agreed to go to parenting class with Esme. In her anger, I don't think that Trina realized the significance of that information. But I am hoping that when Trina calmed down and resume conversation with Spencer, she will remember what her mother had said and proceed to address it with Spencer in the following manner:
Trina: Spencer, the other day when I left you at the bar, I passed by the hospital to visit with my mom and she told me that you agreed to take a parenting class with Esme.
Spencer: well, Esme asked me after I got home from the bar and I said that I would do it for Ace.
Trina: If Esme just asked about it after you got home, how did my mom find out about an agreement that you just made when she was not there with you and Esme. Did you talk to my mom about taking a parenting class!
Spencer: No, absolutely not. I never discussed anything like that with your mom.
Trina: Then how does she know about an agreement that she was not part of. How did she become privy to such information!
Spencer: Beats me. I have no idea how she would know about this agreement that I just now made with Esme. Oh, oh my God, do you suppose that is something that her and Esme communicated about.
Trina: Spencer, why would my mother be in communication with Esme. She hates Esme for what she did to me. No, no, that cannot be.
Spencer: what other explanation is there?
Trina: I don't know. I know that it's no secret that she disapprove of our relationship.
Spencer: That is the truth. Remember at Curtis' birthday when she was reading me the riot act about how taking care of Ace is a great responsibility and that because I am so young that I would not have time for anything else, meaning I would have no time for you. Do you remember that!
Trina: I do. I remember very clearly.
You assured her that you would make time for me.
Spencer: That's right. Remember how skeptical she looked when I said that.
Trina: I remember. Spencer, what are you getting at?
Spencer: It just dawn on me Trina. Your mom really disapprove of our relationship, doesn't she!
Trina: Yes, I said that already.
Spencer: Trina remember your mom's reaction on the day you were waiting to take the DNA test and you said that you love all of us and that you were happy to have so many people in your life to pick you up if you fall. She was not very happy about us that day.
Trina: yes, I remember. Come to think about it, she had some pretty odd respone to our conversation that day.
Spencer: You don't suppose your mom had a conversation with Esme about the parenting class. Oh my God, oh no, how else would she have known this information. Oh my God Trina, I don't want to go there.
Trina: Let's go there. We need to know how she got that information.
Spencer: Are you sure you want to go there?
Trina: I am sure. We have to find out the truth. My mom kept the identity of my father from me and lied to me for 20 years, I will not stand for another betrayal. Spencer, we need to know and we need to know now.
Spencer: Trina, you look very upset. Maybe we should let it go. Oh my God, can this really be! How, when, where!
Trina: Trina was quietly crying and then she suddenly yelled to Spencer... Spencer, I can't breathe. She (her mother) did it to me again. At this point, Spencer was holding and consoling her, while she bury her face in his chest, with his arm all around her. She cried for what seemed like hours, the whole while nesting in Spencer's arms.
Trina: After the sobbing stopped, she suddenly lifted her head from Spencer's chest, and in a whisper, she asked him this question: Spencer, what's wrong with me?
Spencer: looking at her straight in the eyes, he whispered, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. You are the smartest, sweetest and the most honest person I know. Trina Robinson, I love you. Did you hear me Trina Robinson, I love you and I will not allow anyone to hurt you...not even the woman you call mom. As Trina looks into Spencer' s eyes, with tears streaming down her face, she whispered, I love you too Spencer. Before she could say anything else, Spencer kissed her passionately. They were oblivious to their environment like they were the only 2 people left in the world. As they came up for air, Spencer said these words to Trina:
Spencer: Trina, I want you. I want you to spend the night in my arms so I can love you the way you deserved to be loved. Before he could say anymore, Trina covered his mouth with a passionate kiss and he responded in kind. He then said to her in the slightest of whisper...Trina, we will make sure that both Esme and your mom pay for their betrayal, but tonight belongs to us. As they lovingly looked into each other's eyes, without taking his gaze off her, Spencer gently turned off the lamp at the bedside and they disappeared into the darkness of the night. They were not interrupted that night.

I have been trying to be patient but I think the writers just don't want them really together....not sure why. There's not much time. NAC has close to a year on his contract but a. the story is slower than snails and b. as soon as the writer strike is over he has a leave of absence to film that Menendez thing.
I may not be able to stomach these scenes but I am not giving up on Sprina. I know it’s going to get worse than this because GH loves unlimited amount of angst, so I’ll buckle up. But I know Sprina is the end game, no matter what!!!!!

I still think the writers are testing the fans to see how much liberty they can take to create a triangle between Esme, Trina and Spencer. You all do realize that Sprina has gotten so far because of all of us fans. The popularity of Sprina is 100 percent fan made. They are the most popular couple on daytime because of the fans. That has not changed. The fans are still the ones that drives the narrative on the popularity of this couple and GH as a whole. So do not give up on Sprina. The fans are a force to be reckoned with, and, we must never forget that. While the writers are on their stupid trip, Sprina will need us more than ever as a support system to re-direct the tides. So, do not let the writers manipulation drive you away.
The writers are milking the storyline by using Esme like a monkey wrench between Sprina"s relationship because of the very fact that Sprina is hugely popular. I believe that the writers wants to create a certain tension between the characters to make us believe that Spencer and Esme can be an item, when in fact there is no there, there. In other words they are creating a situation to test our tolerance as fans. If we allow our emotion to get the better of us after Friday's episode of GH and walk away from this beatiful couple's story, then we would have surely let Sprina down, while handing a victory to the writers and Esme. This is a test, and we must not fail it by turning away from Sprina out of frustration and anger. I for one will hang in there with Sprina until the writers are forced to come to their senses by the fandom. After all, how much more stupid can the writers get without spiking their own nose.

I’m here for all the drama between Esme, Spencer, and Trina. Eventually they got to mix them up like they did all of the other characters whose been with everybody. Nah, we are not simply going to go with it. The show had fans invested in storyline for Sprina. For 2 years, fans invested in them, promoted them, and celebrated them. When they finally become a couple, you separate them? I am not giving up just yet, but simply taking a break. But I don't anyone who wants to stop watching because it would seem the show used Sprina fans. Personally, I am a fan of the couple, not the show. The show didn't even give them a chance to be a couple before inserting Esme who he has a shared history and a baby brother. Its laughable.
I agree with much of what you say. It is after all a Soap but I think the problem is GH stops just shy of allowing Spencer and Trina to have a real RELATIONSHIP. People want to see this Sprina pairing take it to the next level at least for a minute! 😂
@@lexi6797I’m a fan of the show being that I grew up watching it and I’m a fan of Sprina. I been waiting on them to get together for real for the longest. Still, I’m not gone hate on the show. Shoot they get together now and that’s fine but I bet a couple years later they will be with new people. That’s how soap operas operate. I’m enjoying the show. People who only watching the show for Sprina do you, but I’m here for the whole show and Esme is included. There’s no hero without a villain and frankly it’s quite boring to see a TV couple going about there day so in love with no drama in their life. If Sprina didn’t have Esme around trying to break them up, then what storyline would they even have that’s worth watching? Having sex left and right like Joss and Dex, going on romantic dates, talking about college, or helping with Ace when she really don’t want to. Where’s the drama to keep us entertained?

@tolulae yes , it is t.v. I myself have felt the same way.but the writers have disregarded interracial couples as being not relevant on soaps. You must see that when they are disregarded the writers are saying that they are not important people
