I feel like Malte doesn’t get appreciated as much as he should 😢 and he should get as much attention as Omar and Edvin because he’s an amazing actor !!!

I think he is very brave for having taken on this role, because he knew that he would not be the favourite character. I think he is an amazing actor, and I hope we get to see much more of him. He is one of my favourite actors from the show!
Malte seems like such a genuine and lovely person. He gives the character August so many nuances. I loved the interview and hopefully we will see more of Malte in the future.

Malte is an amazing actor. He brought so much depth and heart and layers to his performance playing August. I never thought I would care about him when the series started but by season 3 my heart broke for him. I grew to love him and understand him.
Initially, I was not enamoured with August, but in the final season, I felt sorry for him and wanted to give him a hug. I also predicted the ending at the end of season 3, episode 5, and it was the only way it could have ended. I think August's final look shows that he knew what was about to happen and was at peace. There is no one else that, IMO, could have played August other than Malte. IMO, Malte should be nominated for Best Supporting Actor.
I'm only partway through this show, and season 3 has yet to be released, but I keep hoping his character will get a "redemption arc". They certainly have written that possibility into the script as it has played out so far.
@@ameliadeevore What do you mean Edvin didn't? I noticed that his accent was more swedish english and less american english, but it still sounded like him. I guess this explains why he used a different english accent?
