Yes the infamous El Naya. I remember working these routes back in 79' with my partner Fabricio. We would go days, sometimes weeks with little to no rest, minimal food and water, and no shelter. One day, the rains had unsuspectingly arrived as me and Fabricio had just begun our transit. The downpour grew and grew to the point of near zero visibility. This is the last I saw of Fabricio. We soon became separated but I continued forward, assuming we would be reunited at our destination. I assumed wrong. Upon finishing the transit, I had received news that my partner, my brother, Fabricio was killed in a mudslide. The rains took him that day, but his spirit lives on forever. Rest in peace, Fabricio.

it's just the process of turning paste to the product which costs 3 dollars. the price for 1 kilo of paste was 700 dollars. i don't know how much paste you need to make a brick, but surely more than 1 kilo, so you'll end up with around 1000 dollars for a brick. still fucking cheap though...

It’s practically worthless before it crosses the border. The price comes from transporting it to the usa. But then again 3$ really is cheap compared to the streetprice for the shit they go through.
it's just the process of turning paste to the product which costs 3 dollars. the price for 1 kilo of paste was 700 dollars. i don't know how much paste you need to make a brick, but surely more than 1 kilo, so you'll end up with around 1000 dollars for a brick. still fucking cheap though...
