- This song was originally composed by MasterSwordRemix and then arranged by me in 2016 for the game Undertale Yellow.
The original soundtrack from UTY is undoubtedly my favorite soundtrack from any RPG so far, I've personally seen all the hard work that gets put into every single detail, sprite, song, etc.
Best part is, there are MANY amazing songs awaiting in the full game, so patience my friends because the game's development is as steady as ever.

I love how Undertale Yellow straight up introduces new areas to the underground. With the linearity of the original, one can easily pretend that that’s all there is to the underground, but the backgrounds EXIST. It’s only linear because Frisk follows a singular road to the end of the game.
By the way, Mettaton ratings show there's at least ten thousand inhabitants in Underground. So we see only small part of the picture.
Not to mention in the og snowdin background I’m pretty sure you can actually see a house down in the forest when you’re on the bridge

Undertale Yellow is an example of a group of fans that actually understand the game. Its messages, themes, approach to gameplay, story, characters, the works. Its rare to see a fan game that tries to be actually like the original, and not someones fever dream
All this while highlighting the most unsavory parts of the characters we already know. It's not just a good fangame, but it deeply affected how I saw the original as well.
to be fair... toby himself has made an au of his own game which is based off a fever dream...

This is the only under tale fan game I'm excited to see the completion of. The quality so far has been spectacular.

Martlet is such a well made character, I sense both Papyrus's determination to do well and Alphys' determination to make things right, the genocide first fight really compliments her well! And her Pacificst side is amazing too! I also love how this game gives a more realistic aspect to monsters getting hurt! It made me feel a bit bad killing them. ^^"

and for 5 years, this banger was right here. maybe i'm glad that i missed everything regarding this game (except for the demo) up until its release, because WOW was this whole experience a reminder of how good games can be, and anywhere i looked, there was quality and effort, not a single thing missed. 8 years. thank you all.
Things they got right on the fangame to look like a real undertale game:
-There is a great story and emotional ending (not that emotional)
-They make a relation between games (deltarune patch armor and undertale... everything)
-There is a fluffy character that everyone likes
Idk the ending is pretty emotional. Pacifist is at least
Anger, hopeful sorrow and a sad feeling of injustice are what i've seen of the endings; i think they count well.

From what I can tell in the comic Martlet is some kind of sentry like Sans, if so the "protocol" is probably fighting us. Also I just realized until now Clover hasn't encountered a Monster that is really on the hunt for their Soul.

I feel as if even before we really know it, this'll be the forefront to a whole bunch of the motifs later in the game than just the justice one that's very quite pleasantly present, I really love that the vibe that this theme has a lot and I don't see there being any troubles with how naturally this already seem s to fit right into the ost!

Okay people need to pay a lot more attention to this so far this is the only place I can hear this theme NO ONE has remixed it and there isn't any duplicate videos with this song just to spread it out just here only google will show anything for Martlet other than theme but besides that nope I love this more people should see and hear this
After i did both pacifist and neutral (i didn't do geno cuz i don't have the patience), i tried to do neutral in which i only kill martlet to see what would happen. But after doing a few attacks, i gave up cuz i didn't have it in me to kill her. (I now know that you can't kill martlet, but it still hurt to try)
I remeber seeing the art for this character when it came out a long time back, I'm excited to see what they're all about once the game is out.
Her theme is giving me castlevania vibes for some reason. Idk why but i can imagine this being the stage theme in a metroidvania.

@@MyNewSoundtrack Oh I misread the description. Perhaps seeing the name "MasterSwordRemix" threw "remix" into my brain while reading about it. I was thinking while listening to it that it had pretty regular loops for something from this channel. I was sitting here like "normally MNS likes to play with the theme on each loop around, but this seems like a pretty seamless game-loop". I guess being an actual seamless game-loop would explain why it sounds that way :P
