    NO talk about increasing transport costs!
    No talk about not having the right certification to their goods!
    And agriculture is doomed

    Ah but "it's all worth it to be independent ".
    Yeah, with 3 trade deals instead of the current 120 plus.
    These poor souls should form a lynch mob and hunt Bretards if it's a model exit. Which may happen.
    But the EU is smarter than Johnson. Boris is pulling his Johnson after all, no fucking idea, careless, narcissistic wanker.

    Boris " we must turbo charge preperations for a no deal so that there is as little disruption as possible " . So that's the ambition now . Damage limitation . There will be disruption ( I thought that was just project fear ) , it will be self inflicted , it could be devastating for some industries and businesses , but we will be keeping it to the minimum possible . Oh so that's alright then .

The fact that anybody listens to , or believes this narcisistic fabulist just supports the theory that the question of membership of the EU should never be asked of the British people , There are too many stupid, easily conned people out there to trust them with such an important decision . Is that direct enough ?? ( Now I'm gonna get some stick !! )

    Damn. Even with the idiot we have in office now here in the US, I still feel bad for my brothers and sisters in the UK. Especially those who didn't want this nonsense in the first place. I don't think the brexiteers wanted a no deal in the first place, but now here you are 2 years later and 3 months away from one and they are saying they wanted it all along. They have went from "things are going to be better" to "well we will survive". I don't get it.
    I listen to lbc from time to time. So I'm a little more informed on brexit than the average american. James O'Brien seems to have been calling out this shit for what it is since it happened. Despite my country flirting with fascism in the face of one of the worst political movements ever, you have my condolences. I hope it isn't as bad as they say or maybe a 2nd vote can be procured as I'm sure a lot more people will have changed their tune.

      As a German in the UK all I'm hoping for now is that the £ will drop below the € soon because that's how I'll make money I can invest from the wreckage before I leave . Johnson's public speeches remind me of the insane rambling rants of propaganda in Germany of the 1930s, that's how bad it is. All the stupid people around me think everything is going to be fine here, that's how bad it is.

    So Bojo's going to increase spending before an inevitable spending caused by no-deal Brexit? Holy hell, vote them out. Labour, Libdems I don't care as long as the Tories or Brexit party aren't leading the country vote for whoever finished 1st or second in your constituency!

    Trade and the economy are really only secondary. Why is your media so obsessed with it? The more important issues for the UK are for example Galileo, flights, citizen rights, access to criminal database, medicine research and drugs, access to data and services (complying to the EU GDPR and financial services passport rights) and of course the GFA.

    • @adamturowski3765
      @adamturowski3765 5 лет назад

      Things you have mentioned are important. However the trade and economy puts food on the table and that makes it even more important. That is why media is so obsessed with them. Simply put you may have all citizen rights and access to databases, but without
      the food you will not last long enough to enjoy it.

    • @holz_name
      @holz_name 5 лет назад

      @@adamturowski3765 But it's really not that important. The UK is a huge economy and it will continue no matter what kind of Brexit. I'm not even sure the recession will that hard. I think the forecast is like the 2008 recession? It's not like the EU suddenly will stop all trade and stop all business relationships with the UK.
      On the other hand, the UK under Boris is threatening to stop all relationships with the EU and that should be more concerning to UK citizens. Under Boris's Brexit it's very likely that the UK will crash out of all institutions of the EU and that means for example that expats will lose their rights overnight and flights will be grounded from the UK.
      Alone the grounding of the flights will crash the UK economy. How many flights? 5 million. It's not just tourism. Business will also suffer.
