What make and grade of oil do you use in 2020 Kia Forte? Awesome video thanks for sharing.
Fully synthetic 5w-20 I believe. Thanks for watching!
Did you say an oil change every 8000 miles?Awesome video thanks for sharing.
If you are using full synthetic like we did in the video. Thanks for watching!

My question is how much "faith " do you put in stp products ( oil & filters )?
I know this is old video but maybe someone will reply. I have 09 kia sportage v6 i bought. Idk what oil was used previously. Can i just put full synthetic or will that cause issues and also does it matter if its dexos?
Is this basically the same procedure you would take to do an oil change on a 2006 Kia Sportage with the 2.0L I-4 engine?
Yes but it will use less oil and a different filter I think. Thanks for watching!
Great video! Very helpful!
I wanted to ask, what's up with the Kia oil filter? The Kia manual states that even though the external appearance may be the same, the internal designs differ significantly and they're not interchangeable; and to avoid potential engine damage, use only the specified filter and contact an authorized Kia dealer.
So, should I only be using a Kia oil filter if I have a 2008 Kia Sportage--or are other filters okay?
I was just going to take it to a Jiffy Lube, but I'm concerned they may not have the specific filter and I think the chances of a mistake are greater there, versus taking it to a Kia dealership for an oil change.
Just wanted to see what your take on this is.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching Salvador!
Sounds like AC Pulley is bad on that startup. : )
Why not recommend using an Oil Filter Wrench to remove the Oil Filter?Makes more sense to me.Not everyone owns a $60 pair of Large Channel Locks...
In my experience they don't work as well. Large channel locks work great! Thanks for watching!
Don’t you have to start the engine to fill the oil filter first before checking the oil level
17mm?
Me: looks down to only having up to 16mm...
Bummer. Better head on down to the hardware store. Thanks for watching!
