BEST TOURIST SPOTS IN PUERTO GALERA, ORIENTAL MINDORO
Puerto Galera was named 2005's Most Beautiful Bay In the World by the Paris-based club called Les Plus Belles Baies Du Monde.
1. Lounge at White Beach. It is the popular tourist destination in Puerto Galera, and many visitors comes here every year. As the name suggests, it is a long stretch of white sand and crystal blue waters that is great for swimming and other water sports like jet skiing, kayaking, and banana boat rides.
2. Explore Talipanan Beach. It is a secluded spot with powdery white sands and calm waters that makes it the perfect place to stay for a quiet and relaxing time. You may also visit Talipanan Falls, which will take you about 30 minutes of trekking.
3. Visit Tamaraw Falls, this twin waterfalls is about 3 stories high and runs beneath a bridge and then flows towards two man-made swimming pools, where you can take refreshing dip.
4. Go Island Hopping. Island or beach hopping destinations typically cover pocket beaches that include San Antonio Island, Haligi Beach and Sandbar Beach (located in Boquete in Paniquian Island) and Bayanan Beach. San Antonio or Medio Island is well-known for a stretch of white sand that the Locals call Long Beach.
5. Relax at Aninuan Beach. It is also a gateway to Talipanan Beach and it's beautiful falls.
6. Explore Aninuan Falls. It is located at the foot of Mount Malasimbo, and there is an entrance fee.
7. Trek to Talipanan Falls. If you are planning to visit Iraya-Manyang Village, make sure to include Talipanan Falls as a side trip. It is a great place to visit if you happen to be at Talipanan Beach.
8. Discover Tukuran Falls. It features charming rock formations and refreshing clear water but you can't resist but dive into!
9. Unwind at Sabang Beach. The Big La Laguna Beach and Small La Laguna Beach can be found in Sabang. Sabang Beach is more well-known for it's diving sites, lively nightlife and numerous shopping options.

HOW TO GO TO PUERTO GALERA, ORIENTAL MINDORO FROM MANILA?
The cheapest and most usual way to reach Puerto Galera from Manila is via Batangas. From Batangas Pier, you will need to catch a ferry boat or Roro going to Puerto Galera Port, Oriental Mindoro.

I was surprised to see the nightlife in Sabang. It is totally different than other places nightlife in the Philippines.
Really Cool area. Beautiful and off the beaten path for most tourists which is what we’re looking for but still plenty of fun and beaches. Great food & nightlife 👍 We like the Mindoro area because it’s close to Manila where my Wife is from. Definitely on the list for possible home base when we get there. Thanks for the tour

Been going to Sabang on and off since 2004...last visit being 2019. It had it's good and not-so-good points back then as development was quite haphazard - culminating in businesses being allowed to encroach right up to the waterline - which turned the remaining beach into an eyesore and polluted the water out to around 50 meters from the shoreline. The bay walk they're building seems to have been a good solution as it looks a lot tidier now. But for me it's always had a kind of rough charm about it. It's on my short list for a retirement location.
Were the floating bars operating while you were there? They are a highlight for me.

Love all your videos. You should visit the waterfalls in Puerto Galera and the mangyan village. Try to visit the Infinity Resort there and Infinity Farm in Baco

It's seems like a lifetime ago since I was last there. So much has changed. My dad was originally from San Jose, Occidental Mindoro at the westernmost portion of the island.
