So I think executors is pronounced that way because that’s exactly what they mean. They have (or view themselves as having) the power to set plans in motion for the world. Like Flemeth/Mythal, they watch, wait, and push things into place behind the scenes, overseeing it all and making sure it goes to their plans.
So close to answers! Really excited to jump back into the world of Thedas and find out which theories are true and what new lore and mysteries we will uncover 😊 There is a theory that the Scaled Ones are a ancestral strain for a race in the Mass Effect games. Like an easter egg to link the games, just like Thedas is shown in the ME games. Not sure what game or what race, as I have not yet played ME. But that would be a funny theory as it ties the universes together yet at the same time we still don't know what influence this race had over events in Thedas and whether they are still around 😂 The two mysteries I want answered the most are; 1. How did the Kossith/Qunari come into being, as they are hinted at being unnatural or even a mistake. Who made them and why? 2. What are the origins of the Blight or Taint, and does it have any relation to Titans?
5:30 I have a bad feeling that moments like this are going to severely impact my enjoyment throughout Veilguard. BioWare has made some pretty objectively terrible game design choices in the past but this one is going to take the cake if the developers have been completely honest regarding past game choices influencing Veilguard.
Spoiler for Vows and Vengence I know drama podcast is just a podcast, so everything is kinda not really canon(???), but what about Elio? He died in the Fade and his body was used by demon.
@@TheKingdomEntertainment that was all a bit too vague right? I was considering re-listening in case I missed something but I don’t really want to hear that whole demon rant again.
Yes. For example, the origin of the Qunari, influence of the kossith and Executors, truth about Andraste, my Grand Necropolis theories... all still stand regardless of choices.
I was really excited for the game for 10 years, but I've made the decision not to play it because I don't think the devs could give me a story I would actually enjoy. For me, DA ends at DAI with a cliffhanger, and the imagination can go on writing from there. I'd much rather have an unfinished story filled with possibilities than a mediocre ending.
Regarding the executors, I am not much of a fan om them serving the Qunari. Instead, I believe 'those across the sea' is not meant as a literal sea, but as the fade. We often find descriptions of the 'emerald waters of the fade', and there is alot of symbolism of the fade as a sea. So I theorize (and hope) that Those Across the Sea, are beings trapped on the 'other side' of the fade, i.e. most probabbly the Evanuris. Which would explain why Solas fears the executors, as they follow the will of the Evanuris and are likely trying to free them.
As for the forgotten Scaled Ones race. In Jaws of Hakkons Codex entry: Mysteries of the Frostback Basin we read: „…This is explained in Ser Ycke's Pamphlets, of which I have read many, which explain things such as why the snake appears in Tevinter drawings, and how the Snake-Kings came to exist. (Crystals.) Did Moon Men have their Tevinter Allies keep the Reptilian Ones here, so they could interrogate them at their Leisure? None can say, but I will say yes as that would Fit My Theories.” I know it sounds a bit like conspiracy theories. But it's Dragon Age, there's always an element of truth. While finishing Trespasser I found one and only such mural, in the last room on Crossroads - a snake mural. There we find the entire Codex entry: Notes on Methods of Enchantment. I don't know if it has any significance, but the codex is probably written by Ghilan'nain's hand. What else am I curious about? How did the Qunari come into being? Is this also the work of Ghilan'nain? Where are the Scaled Ones? Who are the Executioners? What was the nature of the first elves? Were they spirits who, like Cole, created bodies for themselves? Who are the Forgotten Ones? And where is the Abyss? ;)
Welcome back almost time for game day🐉🙌🏿

"That choice is not accounted for"
Holy, a dragon age video that isn’t about drama? I must be dreaming
Almost time for the game drop! Love that you’re getting that last bit of tinfoil in before the next big chunk of lore arrives. :)

I appreciate even through all the "stuff" going on with the franchise that you continue to make lore/theory videos detached from the drama.
Two days left.
Where can I find your time travelling Garahel theory??? I'm so interested lol
@@MsIvalane Talking Dragon Age: Garahel 😂
@@TheKingdomEntertainment lolol thanks 💝

@Shizuka171 yeah, i was confused by that 🤔 But didn’t the demon try to claim his body was still buried under rubble?

Does theorizing even have a point now that choices won’t matter?
Yes. For example, the origin of the Qunari, influence of the kossith and Executors, truth about Andraste, my Grand Necropolis theories... all still stand regardless of choices.
