This was the bypass road towards udhampur .. {shortcut .}
This will save approx 2 hr at least from main route .
There has 3 route including new ones which tak u to udhampur .
When u come back take new route towards from udhampur to lakhanour u willenjoy the road

Awesome sir, thank you for the route information. Actually it was the night time due to which I was little hesitant, moreover signboard says “Forest Area”. Being solo at 3 AM in the morning in forrest isiliye thoda darr tha but thank you for letting me know about this route 🙏🤩

I have been to this highway last year , Google map took me via this route, people also suggested road is good and also it is a shortcuts, directly goes to Udhampur bypassing Jammu. But the road had lot of bad patches and big pot holes , also in day time there is huge truck line and traffic jam. I will not prefer this route again :(
I travelled on this road at 3AM that too on the suggestion of Google, moreover SOLO. Imagine my condition 😟

Me bi isi route se gya ta wo bhi raat me 12 bje mera bhi yhi haal hua ta me or mera 1 frend bhi ta dono ka yhi haal ta kewal truck hi dhik rahe te kbhi kbhi par idahr se km. Kam lagta hai
Haa bhai Ramban se Banihal tunnel cross karne tak bhai bahut traffic jam rehta hai iss route par and trucks to bahut khatarnak tareeke se chalte hai yaha 😅

trucks ko allowed nahi hota movement ke liye, limited trucks are allowed to pass into kashmir and app jammu ke udhampur katra wale road se aaye thae ladakh pe
