- Here's another one of my MTH diesels that I have not modified in any way, shape or form. It's due for a BCR upgrade though, so that will be coming soon ;) This was one of my early purchases in the world of O scale. It's a Rail King PS2 3V loco, that runs very well. The consist is made up of MOW Lionel coal cars and MTH ore cars (I think these were nicknamed "jennies"?) and an MTH MOW gondola and caboose.

Sounds and looks great Brian! As a PRR fan, I love it. Your RS3 is the pre- merger version, I saw a lot like this one in the mid to late 1960s. I love it pulling a MOW train! Great video❤❤❤

Nice sounds from the rs3! There is something about ore cars that I really like and I am about to get more😂. Hugger Orange is the best z28 color!
I hear ya Joey!! I love the looks of them as well! I try to grab these MTH Pennsy ones when I find them. And yes, Hugger Orange is the best color for a 69Z! I need to find one without the black top and with white stripes! That was the exact car that my neighbor had and he let me sit in it at about 15yrs old. That was the spark that started my infatuation with that car!

I have the same set this engine is a part of. I painted the couplers on mine a rust color.

@@naxshack yeah some of my engines and rolling stock also have painted couplers. I stopped with painting the couplers after the paint markers ran out. I don’t think I will bother with painting anymore.
Great video Brian, I love the RS-3 and the ore car rolling stock. I have the Rio Grande RS-3 with a dummy locomotive sporting PS3.0. It's funny when I turn on the remote control it tells me that this locomotive is a Pennsy RS-3 ha ha, but it is painted in Rio Grande colors (black) with Rio Grande printing. I love the caboose, is that the N6B? I continue to love your videos so keep 'em coming. I'm considering backing off on my video releases until around Thanksgiving (no interest, my layout is too boring), but I'll continue supporting your channel.
Thank you Roger! Oh nice, that’s a great looking loco!! I’ve been thinking about getting a Rio Grande RS-3. I see them come up on the bay, occasionally. I believe this is an N6B caboose. I was lucky to find it in Pennsy MOW color! And you have a very beautiful layout, please keep the vids coming! I have a really tough time trying to work on my layout. Especially with the warmer weather here in NJ now, it’s hard for me to justify staying inside to do anything. I feel like I really need to be outside doing something before the cold weather returns.

Gotcha. I do see them occasionally on the bay. I see this one (PRR) more often though.
@@naxshack Sadly ☹ when downsizing, I sold off all my PRR and B&O, and have an offer on all my C&O. Wish I could attach a picture, show the mess I have here.
For sure, it’s tough after a move and I can only imagine it’s even tougher after downsizing. 😔
