I just installed the pioneer tire on my GTS and I didn’t take off any rails. I did it the way the float life gt tire change showed. It’s a quicker way.
Best thing you can do for a gt is gt a standard hub from fungineers and then mount what ever tire you want, plus you gain a ton of sidewall so you won't rim smack all the time and the ride will be smoother
2:49 dude, just take out the valve stem lol You don't deflate, you remove the valve stem. That's also how you set the bead faster. Without the valve stem the air will flow at full speed. You can get a valve stem remover on every bottle of armordillo and just grab one from Walmart or a local bike shop
We have changed 7 tires. 1 yesterday. Everyone does it their own way. This is how we did it. We remove the valve stem I have about 6 of those things everywhere. We up and riding every time with no issues. My main GT is on its 4th tire now. Thanks for watching 🤙
Hey bud thanks for the video I've heard that there's a problem getting float savers on with the performance treaded, but y'all show that it's actually possible so I'm going to give mine another go
@@quangyung6751 I didn’t care for the Enduro. The performance tire is stable and soft. We have now put a second performance on our each of our boards. It lasted around 8 months with all the riding and tricking we do.
It’s a great tire! It makes the board a true pro model board! The stability is insane, your locked in to the trail at any speed and I find Noah is faster with this tire than with his stock. It’s soft and absorbs anything in its path. I run the enduro right now and have 500 miles on it. I find early on the enduro carves and turns better and the side walls give when going through uneven ground. However, the new performance tire allows your feet to leave the board (tricks) and it stays in place because of how stable the tire is on the new performance tire. It depends on how you want to ride your board, which tire you should get. I like both tires a lot! We are dropping a full ride on the new tire Friday🤞 are you trail or street?
Front foot pad is stock concave with Float Trail grip and we have it Posi connected for activation. Back footpad is Kush Wide with Trail Grip. Use every inch of that back footpad. The trail grip is insane for activation.
I will work to get just the install uploaded by end of week. Just the raw footage. If people want to watch they can. I was rushing to get this video out because everyone was asking us about the tire. Hope you liked the video!
It’s a different ride. More stable. Doesn’t 180 like the enduro. Also going off and on curbs is a big change. Enduro goes off and on better. The stability is insane. It actually feels like your riding with shocks. It absorbs bumps extremely well. How do you ride your board mostly? Trails or street? Tricks or regular riding?
Everyone watching, do not follow their instructions for install. Many times when installing the tire they kept putting pressure on the motor cable and also way over inflated the tire. This GT isn't going to last long.
Hope you like the video!

No problem! We actually have the V2 Life Savers on now. Both fit with no issue!
I’m having trouble getting the bead to pop with the lifesavers on, any suggestions?
Do you prefer the enduro or the the pt?
We had both. The PT is the better riding tire in our opinion. We just bought a new PT this past week. It’s that good.
my first one wheel is coming in on the 25 super excited. loved the video
So awesome! Welcome to the community! What did you end up getting? Pint or GT?
which tire is thicker and more durable?
The thickest tire is stock and would be the most durable.
But the ride is rough and bumpy.
Not sure what ride you’re looking for.
@@borillasnaps sorry I meant between the enduro and performance tire.

Do V2 life savers work with the performance tire? Ive heard rumors that it does not...

I like my GT treaded tire question is this tire round like the stock tire or is it more flat like the enduro or like the stock Vega from xr
It’s nothing like the enduro or stock. It’s 7” beast. Stable, smooth, and fast. We want to order another one. It’s awesome!

Nice to know about the stability. Does it feel as stable at the xr wide tire?

22 psi
We ride 10.5
It actually popped low
Ok
