New subscriber...Thanks for mentioning audiobooks as that's how I get my reading done due to my schedule. Also, sounds like great suggestions! I added some of them to my Want to Read tag.

I'm not in a slump, but this is helpful. I just started my Ali Hazelwood journey and would love to pick up novellas!

Thanks for the suggestions. I will definitely give some of these a try. Another book I would recommend for a reading slump is The One by John Marrs. It has short chapters and each chapter ends on a cliffhanger.

@@teresarollen7425 I’ve never read anything by John Marrs, but I’ve heard a lot of good things! Thanks for the rec, I will definitely add The One to my list!

So after giving Ali Hazelwood her 3rd straight 5 Stars with NOT IN LOVE, I decided to go back and read Love On the Brain & Love Theoretically... LOTB was awful(1 star) and LT was slightly less awful(2 stars) and of course, TLH was a 2 stars also... So moral of the story, AH's first 3 books suck, but her last 3 books are FANTASTIC 🤷🏻‍♂
The Push is one of my favorites and is GREAT on audio
I'd say The Boys of Tommen will get anyone out of a slump... I'm currently on Saving 6 💚

@@Mano-Wan oh wow that’s so funny, Love on the Brain is my favorite of hers and was a 5 star for me 🤣 something about it I just loved and ate it up lol but I would have thought you might like Love Theoretically because I noticed a shift in her writing style in that book, and it feels less like her first 2 books in my opinion. I’m currently in the middle of Not in Love though and I’m enjoying it!!
Definitely, Boys of Tommen is one of my all time favorite series! I think the length of the books can be intimidating but they do read quickly once you start them 🫶🏻

Started writing comments for every book you mentioned but noticed there's actually a lot more book recommendations than I thought, so just wrote a few instead to avoid making a horribly long comment.
The Push sounds disturbing, that happens to some parents - some people are born nasty and the parents can never really connect with them, there's nothing really that can be done. Can't choose your kids just like kids can't choose their parents (to start with).
The Kind Worth Killing - Ted and Lily don't sound like particularly likeable characters. Seeing things from the villains point of view can be interesting, but if it's just the basic "I'm sad because my wife is cheating" that's not very deep or intelligent. I'm assuming the twist is Lily is tricking Ted because I don't see why she'd so quickly go along with it.
None of This is True - Interesting that you couldn't figure out where the story was heading especially since you read a LOT, that shows that story must be quite original and unpredictable.

@@Vaquix000 Ted and Lily are definitely unlikeable characters but they were so interesting to read about and the story took several turns I wasn’t expecting! None of this is True is definitely one of the most original stories I’ve read in a long time! I thought it was so well done
