I helped build that new bridge. I won't go on that bridge. I was crew on a tugboat and spoke regularely with the engineers and inspectors. All sections are tied together. If any one section goes down, it will go down from shore to shore all 7 miles.
I REMEMBER GOING OVER THE OLD ONE IN 1977 ON OUR TRIP TO DISNEY WORLD FROM CONNECTICUT 3 YRS LATER MY GRANDPARENTS WENT DOWN THERE TOO OVER THE BRIDGE THEY STAYED WITH FIRENDS I STILL HAVE THE NEWSPAPER AND BOOK TOO MY LATE POP GAVE ME I HEARD ALOT OF RUMORS THAT THIS NEW ONE IS PEELING AWAY IN PLACES
