I cannot believe what I have just witnessed. I can not believe Zack Snyder let this trailer give up this much while giving Batman and Superman that STUPID line at the end. I mean what was that?

Snyder had no part in making the trailer, it's entirely separate studios who have the duty of compressing 2+ hours into a couple of minutes. This happens a lot, particularly the Terminator movies, where the trailers give away too much of the plot. The studio behind the new Star Wars trailers have done a great job with it, but these guys probably don't understand the comic lore of this, and they were just putting interesting/comedic scenes together. Don't want to come off as a dick, just thought you should know.

I would've gone to see this movie knowing that it was just going to be a fight between Batman and Superman. I would've been very surprised an excited seeing Doomsday appear. Now I won't have that excitement. No joke, from now on, I'm boycotting movies!

From what I've seen so far, I'm not liking how Jesse Eisenberg plays Lex Luthor at all. I always pictured him as being more serious...dignified I guess. He seems too nerdy in this to me.

The cinematography, vfx, tone, costumes, production design, music and sound effects are all top notch. Geez. You guys should know by know to stop watching trailers. It's you're own fault if you're spoiled.
No. A trailer is a sales pitch. Meant to entice us to see what happens not give us a minute summary of every twist and turn. I mean there was a time when trailers showed as little as possible but just enough to make people say "Alright I NEED to see how this plays out.". Look at the trailer for the original Alien movie. Little as possible yet it was a huge success. Hell the first trailer of this movie did it right. It just showed the batsymbol with Superman hovering above looking down at a well equipped Batman with the phrase "Tell me do you bleed?" That's all they really needed to sell the movie. 'Hey we have the two of the most popular super heroes on the silver screen together for the first time, that's all were going to show you.' Hell I would go see the movie under those circumstances and I despised man of steel and think Zack Snyder is a hack.

If it was me, I'd edit trailers so it doesn't spoil the film and it ends up being an extended teaser trailer. But I don't currently work for those studios.

From all the trailers I've seen this is my favourite. the comic-con trailer was perfect but this trailer has the best music, the best Bat-fleck lines proving that he was perfect casting and the best visuals. People say that this spoilt the film but if you look at the end with wonder woman joining the fight its taken completly out of context... I'm super hyped for this movie!!!

If you truly believe that BvS has been spoiled to the extent or where you wouldn't want to buy a ticket (because a lot of people have been saying that online - and you are entitled to your stupid opinion if you truly do believe that) then answer these questions if you can't answer them all then the movie has not been spoiled and you do not know the main beats of this movie.
okay answer these questions:
1. How and why exactly does Wonder Woman come into the fray?
2. How exactly will the batman and superman fight end?
3. Is that doomsday's final form?
4. What about aquaman, cyborg and the flash?
5. Will anyone die?
6. What happens during the superman court room scene?
7. Is the desert sequence a nightmare or is it Wonder Woman seeing into the future?
8. Will there be a scene of joker killing Todd?
9. What is Luthors real agenda because all we saw was his eccentric side he exemplifies in public how does he act when he's alone?
9. Who exactly is Scoot Mcnairy, Callan Mulvey and Jena Malone playing?
10. what about that underwater sequence in trailer 1?
11. what are the parademons doing in the desert sequence?
12. Themyscira scenes were filmed in New Mexico haven't seen that yet
13. what about the Gotham v Metropolis football scene that was the first scene shot for the movie how will that play out?
14. ironically we haven't heard WW say a single word yet how exactly is Gal portraying her?
15. At what point in the movie do Bats and Supes discover each other's secret identities?
16. EW showed superman in Wayne Manor how is that scene going to play out?
17. What about the Kryptonite how exactly will that be utilised?
18. Exactly how does the trinity take out Doomsday?
19. does Luthor get exposed for what he is by the end of the movie to the general public - it's obvious Lois knows he's evil from the trailer but does the rest of the world by the end?
20. How exactly does Luthor go bald is it Kryptonite poisoning or something else?
Even if you can manage answer one of the questions you could be wrong.
I'm going to give my own review on #BatmanvSuperman #DawnOfJustice but just on few specific details. First off it was fully awesome, it began with Clark Kent aka #Superman and Bruce Wayne aka #Batman both discussing about both of their point of views about their alter egos until Lex Luthor jr steps in and playful greet both Clark and Bruce, I thought it was very humorous especially he said about Clark's hand shake, "You do not want to pick a fight with this guy."
Then the trailer showed Bruce was willing to wage war on #Superman because according to the synopsis to the movie Bruce is too afraid to think about what would happen if Superman is left unchecked, in comics, #Batman have been a paranoid towards something very unfamiliar to the world, next the trailer showed #Batman and #Superman were duking it out, where #Superman was saying to #Batman "Don't get up, if I wanted to you'd be dead already", that right there to me is text book #Superman, Henry Cavill is doing a wonderful job playing that character.
And then things got even interesting: Doomsday entered the scene that was so cool, Lex jr used Zod's DNA to create him which it gave Doomsday heat vision/breath which I find it over-the-top excellent, it may not how that happened but we'll just have to wait to see that is correct or not. Okay I'll admit showing Doomsday in the trailer was a bit too revealing but come on people that alone isn't much of a spoiler, we all knew that Doomsday would show up in this movie and you people act like you've seen the whole movie which it really isn't.
Another reason why most people are up in arms about the trailer is that it showed #Batman, #Superman and #WonderWoman standing together at the end of the trailer and Doomsday enter the scene right before it because they are really believe that it's about #Batman going up against #Superman. Well news flash to these people, it is not what this movie is about at all, you see most people have mistaken the title Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice which led them believe it's some kind of a versus movie, the letter "v" doesn't necessarily mean it stands for versus, now a I said before it's not solely about #Superman and #Batman fighting each other, it's about both of them having different points of view, and the Dawn of Justice part is where Diana and Doomsday make their appearance which it make a lot of sense for the title. Zack Snyder specifically said they made it "v" because they didn't wanna call it a versus movie, since that's not what it is.
Lastly, that trailer was for general audience not just for us comic book fans and fanboys alike.
I truly hope this really shed some light on this.

I don't understand the hate on this movie, it was a 10/10 IMO, ppl is so mindless judging this movies "oh some friends told me it sucks" and those friends say that because they saw an idiot saying that online.
1) this isn't the batman vs superman animated movie or comic cross doomsday comic or animated movie, THIS IS A WHOLE NEW STORY, that's not even the same doomsday, if you use your brain for a second, when Luthor is in Zod's ship he gets all the info about the THE doomsday (made by kryptonians years ago) he is making his own doomsday.
2) this isn't a action based movie, if you are form 8 to 13 yrs old probably you will get bored, but the story is pretty well done and opens up tons of things for next movies, the first real battle happens like at 1hr 40min
3) This is clearly made by comic fans not made for some casual followers like marvel does his movies, now everyone loves thro and iron man, this movie has sooooo much references to the comics.

+Calum. But at least the characters in that movie are already well established through the MCU. DC basically just started theirs with the reboot of Superman (Man of Steel) and the Batman here seems also more of a reboot. The backstory isn't there like it is for civil war and this trailer basically spoiled the ending where as the other movie did not (yet).
