- Une scene de bagarre de "On ne vit que deux fois" (You only live Twice) avec Sean Connery, 1967. Ce dernier, un peu lassé d'enchainner les James Bond, n'assure pas lui même l'intégralité de cette scène de combat : ce n'est lui que lors des gros plans. Le reste du temps, c'est le "stunt supervisor" qui double Sean Connery, à savoir Bob Simmons.

Looking at this fight scene I got to say it is one of the best, particularly with Bond using whatever weapons are at hand including the furniture. It is fast paced and well thought out. I heard one of the Martial Arts advisors was Don Dragger the ex-Marine and weapons expert.
That's Peter Maivia, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's grandfather fighting Sean Connery.

Literally came here cause he said “my grandfather has an amazing fight scene in that movie.” In an interview on lad bible. I 100% agree with him
my dad took me to a AWA wrestling match when i was a kid and Chief Peter Maivia was on the card & his tag team partner was Pedro Morales..this is also by far my favorite Bond film ever and "You Only Live Twice" is my all time favorite Bond song

Everything about this fight scene is awesome, but you can't help but laugh a little at how the guy falls down at the end.
He fights him with a fucking sofa, now that's class.

@goldyn12345 I agree. Although both Dalton and Moore had their place in the pantheon of Bond actors. I want lighter fare, I pull out a Moonraker, I want to see a hard badass bond I grab License to Kill.
I guess even James Bond in a way has to smell what The Rock is Cookin'

there are some pros and cons about roger being 007. i think hes a pretty good replacement considering hes uncoordinated in fighting scenes.
yes, connery was better than moore for the fight scenes... but only in the very early Bonds : if you look again that sequence, you'll see that it is not Sean at all, except during the close-up !

i think roger looks a bit uncoordinated at his fighting scenes. he flails his legs and somehow knocks someone out.

I thought he was awesome in LTK. I never saw TLD yet. He was supposed to star in Goldeneye, wish he didn't resign, he should of done one more
