Punk invested in Kim early, she's his most played character next to Cammy I think so with these buffs I wouldn't be surprised if he started playing her offline too.
Him posting this is a big plus. I think I mentioned on another thread that what was added to her kit is still small but good at the same time. the HP as a combo starter and the instant arc step do give her more options which translates to more damage in the end. I'm still holding out for changes to her teleport (LP = close, MP =neutral, HP = slightly further away) and to either get her invincible Tatsu back or her initial sweep back. But I believe Capcom will wait until the end to do this. (My theory is that as a new character she was meant to be top tier (like Chun Li normally is), but toned her way down to build her back up. Fingers crossed
Ill be more interested if he shows up with Kimberley at the kings of the world cpt qualifier in uk in two weeks. Let’s see how his cammy or Kim does offline after the changes and couple weeks to practice. He said that is one of offline tournaments he will be attending

This is a nasty card to play when needed. He’s already amazing with setting up corner pressure, and Kim can crazy. Punk might just switch it up to force people to prepare for Cammy, Kim, and Akuma.
@@Ninobeige that’s why I said I want see it in offline tournament which characters he gonna play. That way we get an idea of how the balance patch changes the tier list of whose strong and who isn’t anymore

As much as he plays fundamentals with her pretty well. Kim is not his kinda character, barely utilises what makes her oppressive. No mix, no post knockdown pressure, he is literally just playing cammy😂 but not cammy
✅Kimberly seems like a great trade-off from cammy also she's a bit balance still have ways to go through fireballs and has Air shenanigans.... An her own plus movement ability /shenanigans..... ❌Cammy needed to be tone down her kit would make u quite the game
Kimberly is good now, but I still think Cammy is better. Even with all the nerfs, Cammy’s whiff punish game and neutral are still best in class. Kim by design can’t and shouldn’t compete with that.

He ain't switching from Cammy her buttons didn't get touched really so the way he plays her she's just fine.

Everytime he get a knockdown he’s doing a meaty strike/throw or shimmying his opponent so he is getting pressure post knockdown
