With Polkhawk you could even do penetrator round to make it unpreventable or incendiary shot and force load. I would lineage release Diana to bring in the flarecannon to avoid it being destroyed in anticipation
In an ideal world, if polkhawk is distant from using rocket jump previous turn which deals 4 damage to the attacker, 2 damaged would be from ranged, 1 from the guns attack, 2 from incendiary bullet, 2 from the on hit effect, 2 from the on attack effect, 10 from the reaction and then 4 from blazing throw could be 27 damage.
It's similar in that you play creatures to contest the board, and stack interactions are identical to MTG. The resource system is very different though.
Game overall is very similar. The designers behind this game are huge MTG fans and play the game competitively. There are a lot of translatable elements between GA and MTG. 2 major differences: 1. Like @Fome said, the resource system is very different. This game prevents you from flooding or being mana screwed. Which also means there are cards available to play (no lands means every card in the deck is gas). But you will still have card/color restrictions (similar to what the mana system restricts you from playing every card in magic). There is a curve as well, but it feels slightly different. 2. There is a wish board that you can naturally cast from every turn. This dynamically changes the game, both in how you further your own game plan as well as how you stifle your opponent's. Overall I highly recommend it, and the best way to know is to try it yourself.
Yes, sorry, the TalkGA crew is in California and May 6th is a Monday so we have work - that's why we had to set the release a bit later (6 PM our time) so we can watch the premiere together after work. Thanks for your patience!
Hi! Like Shinja said, we set the premiere for the US timezone. TalkGA is based in California so our timezone is pretty late 😅 Thanks for your patience!
