That’s dope… something like this shows me my trading mentality vs yours so helps to improve overall view of charts
I know there are a couple of things to consider before streaming live while you are scalping, but it would be really good for us to watch you live with your thoughts while actually trading. Perhaps if you don't want to because of the nervousness and risk that come with operating with real money and an audience, you could do a test with a demo account. 🤔
I’ve been trying to emulate your strategy and honestly it’s going horrible. But I think the part where you “read” the bullish market and decided to go short as the market lost steam; that is the best part of the video. More of that please
Sir more videos on this type it's helpful to understand market ❤
You speak very well and trade even better
That was a great video ! Up against the Nitty-Gritty... You can 't get it all, all the time. The best thing here is it was a profitable trade. Really nice, Thanks !
I'm 19 and I already know trading is my way out, have to fall in love with the process and not give up no matter what! Get yourself a broker simple
Ada Elizabeth Baker stands out because she keeps it real. Unlike some brokers with unrealistic goals, she delivers on what she promises.
I’m not surprised, Elizabeth's concept is key in beating all odds to excel in this form of online commodity. Her management team is quite impressive so far! With SUK made a profit of over 28,863 dollar
she's mostly on Telegrams, using the user name
Am not here to converse for her but to testify just for what I'm sure of, she's trust worthy and best option ever seen
Bro, keep your head up! Hate hearing your tonality sound a little defeated in this video. You had a win, just wasn’t the win you were looking for. Result? Still a WIN. Get out there and get $3,000 in a trade this week, you got this.
100% A win is still a win even at half size. Missing those home runs can be tough but in the end they aren't what make you consistently profitable in the long run.
No you can't be confident all the time, this is a real mindset video that we all need

Thx for sharing. We have the same strategy for scalping. Couple years ago i implimented 8SMA which helps me add to my position. I start my postions with half the size of what I used to start with. As soon as the candlestick gives me the signal with the 8SMA I add another half or a full position. I end up making more money and less risk just in case price pulls back on me. Also, I stay less in the market to hit my target.
I really enjoy hearing your bar by bar analysis and thought processes both on entry and exit.
Good to know I plan to keep doing these!
I respect the honesty. This is NEEDED in this industry especially in this generation where traders arent traders they are RUclipsrs pretending to be traders. That honesty will take you along ways... or longer ways. Ppl think you have to lie to kick it... nope we just want to KNOW the person we're learning from is human too and not like these other guys being "sim-Gods/Market-Replay wizards" keep it up.
I 100% agree with you! This year I am planning to put more and more out but I'm trying to also do it at a pace that doesn't overload me and derail my trading!
Same exact thing, has happened to me, many, many times. Really enjoy your videos, as always, thanks for sharing.
Riley! Riley! Riley!! I’m so glad I found your channel!!!….going to binge watch these videos!….very well explained content. 👍🏽
Just love your teaching and trading style😍
Love your videos and your trading style. Thanks for sharing
These honest mindset thought process type videos are wonderful please do more thank you
More to come!
@@RileyColeman How much leverage do you use?
@@ankittalwar484- *It seems like that broker or tool analyzes for him how much leverage to apply in order to not lose more than he's willing to lose acording to his plan and to apply the 3R or nothing plan. It likely varies from trade to trade. I normally do 10x to 15x leverage for mine and it always depends.*
Great video
Thank you bro 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
like your channel. how long have you been trading? i'm trying to learn more about trading any suggestion
this was a pretty good vid ngl...similar to how i trade at times with the trailing sl...and it deciding to keep going down after hitting my sl. a win is a win in my books. keep it up!
Very good pathway . Keep going dude . .pls use 20 and 200 sma on all your charts. Study OliverVelez .
Thank you for the video! You are a really good trader. Made a profit and got out. You never know what market is going to do next second.
More day off trades like this please very helpful perspective!!
Is this nasdaq minis? Or what is this are you trading?
Yeah dude same. Today was too choppy for me, managed to pull ~$400 out of the market over 3 trades, then ended up being down a grand on the day.
Just a bad day for day traders in general I think. Market was insanely indecisive.
Do we trade Future's just like trading Forex?
Thanks bro
Started my trading journey, and have so far lost more than 10% of my bag in just over a week...haha... hoping to learn more, become a better trader, and get some wins. Stumbled upon your channel and loving what you're sharing. Thank you Riley!
Why not paper trade if you dont know what youre doing?
Im totally engaged while watching your teachings. I understand futures have less volatility and therefore making it more attractive. Do you purchase $600 worth of stock futures or options ?
Riley when you say you put up $600 per trade as in example are trading futures options ? Because the vids you put out does not quite explain things on the actual trade. I recall on one of your vids that you don’t trade options?
Grate video. I'm just extremely ticked off with my self just can't figure out what I'm doing g wrong I see the trades plan them out but yet I loose money keep getting chopped up right then reverse the trade just get eating up by fees this is exactly what I'm trying to do reversals and continuations take today on oil futures planed out the long we came into a demad area stupid me watches the trade go to my target and I fomo in short and take a loss same on nq later in the day goes to my target after taking a nother loss I don't know mabe I need to take a brake from trading I don't want to but just so frustrated can't put it together have screen shots journals but yet I mess it up just aggravated with my self
thanks for sharing, I'm a beginner who joined the nfc community.
This was a great video, as a couple other people said, i like the play by play telling us your step-by-step thought process. The only thing that was a bit confusing was jumping between the NQ and the ES. At first i wasn't sure which one tou actually traded on. It did become more clear, but if you like to compare markets as part of your decision making process maybe explain that a bit more. Just a couple of thoughts as you out out more of these videos, great work love all the content!
Makes total sense! I will try to make it clearer in the future thanks so much for the input!
Thx
Hey Riley, I've been watching your video and you've been the most REALEST trader/educator. Thanks for your videos. One day, I hope to have a chat with you. Have a great day man. Thanks for the good videos as always.
My platform has a round numbers indicators that works well for projecting turning points and take profit levels. Setting it to 50 ticks works well for the ES because the instrument really respect 50 tick levels.
I really enjoy your videos, Can you make a video explain the Option Chain in Futures? For example when I have /RTY open I can see option chain available. Does it work like normal Options? I am very confused. Thank you so much!!
I think they work like normal options but I wouldn't quote me on that I have never traded options on futures. Only normal options.
Thank you! @@RileyColeman
Great videos
How many RR before u move ur stop to breakeven?
2RR 3RR?
Its more about if it starts the "breakout" in my favor but generally that is somewhere between 1-2x RR
Cool vid..
Hi Riley. Just started following you. Great insights and strategy. Would like to know if you do any live trading with you ? thanks
Welcome! I don't at the moment. I'm trying to go there eventually over time but it puts a lot of pressure to do it live which is distracting!
Thanks anyway. Amazing work with the videos. Keep 'em coming.@@RileyColeman
Why do you look at the market and not the stock company itself?
Hello Riley love to see your video again. Can I ask ? Would you mind sharing some tips on how to be successful here on youtube? That's my dream but I think good quality is not enough :/ If not take this comment just as youtube algorithm boost :D And no I am not a bot if anyone thinks so. Like as always
A quick question if you are so successful why do you have a regular 9 to 5?
Do you trade forex? What's your broker?
Your experience with Ninja Trader vs Tradovate? I've seen videos with you using both - do you prefer NT, if so, why?
I find NT just better overall. Also being able to have custom indicators is really helpful.
I made a g on this drop as well. Good day, congrats!
Nice work!
Bro love from India (Niti valley, Himalaya) Uttarakhand 😊 Nice explanation & even it happens with me as well.
It is short, moving his SL ( read BUY ) to BE ( Break Even )
Thank you man! I took that trade as well with paper money. But I
Made 20 dollars
Just focus on the strategy in the beginning then the money will come.
Yoo. Bro don't worry. You have done a great trade. A safe nice trade. ❤
Ok
You are great riley ❤
Can you make more videos like this its helpful for understanding market and your strategy. ❤
That's the plan!
Lol i took the same trade today 😂. I actually took the one before it and got chopped. I got taken out of the second one where you did too but then i just doubled down on the rest of the move.
What made you stay out of the first move? You said the market was not that great, but it was in your zone so not sure what you saw there. Thanks Riley
It was the overall choppiness of the market. The ES and NQ were so back and forth in a tight range I felt even if it did reverse there the risk reward wasn't great.
THE REST WAS RETAIL ONCE IT BROKE 17750 LEVEL GREAT TRADE MY MAN !
Have you thought about doing a live q&a?
I am planning to do that in the future! Working a few other big updates for my course at the moment but once that is done I'll be doing a lot more!
Riley: at 1795 on the left side there is a red(Blue) candle with an red(Blue) wick . The white candle wick does rise to the blue candle wick which will cause a reverse. Would this have worked out for you? Excellent day overall!
1795? Not sure where you mean by that. Do you mean 17795? Like the price? Can you give me a time stamp? Makes it easier to help find.
@@RileyColeman My apologies! You are correct; 17795. The blue wick at 6:49 am
Ah I didn't look to get short there as the market wasn't clear to me yet. I like to give the market 15-30 minutes to create some patterns. @@muhammadnimji4626
2.29, he has a long position but when it goes lower he's making more money, hmm right, something is fishy
You don't use DOM at all?
Nope!
Are you buying option contracts?
No these are futures contracts
I just want to say i love how u teach and how transparent u are just a suggestion y dont u post daily live trading videos for moree better understanding
Trying to slowly add on to not add too much stress on my trading! So maybe 1-2 of these a week we shall see!
Nice trade Riley, 3 times you risk, it's already very good, do you trade Nasdaq now ?
Yes I trade NQ. ES and CL.
🤔Interesting because Nasdaq is a slight complicated market
Which broker
Ninjatrader
Whats your lot size?
This trade was 1 NQ Futures Contract
Do you trade every day?
Generally Tuesday - Friday. I take mondays off to transition from the weekend!
@@RileyColeman oh okay, so that has nothing to do with the strategy not working so well on Mondays
Did similar play on MNQ entered little late but made 419 bucks.
Awesome!
Human emotions + Trading = Not the best decision making. We all go through it. You still were profitable for the day though! 👍
What app do you trade on? I'm trying to find a good platform
I use Ninjatrader
@@RileyColeman are you in the USA?
I'm having trouble being profitable. I've been trading for around two yrs and I do ok for a few days and get killed after that. I wonder if you could help
you are using software that not everyone can use and has to pay high fees for. please do not claim everyone can have the same results as you can have
