    I was in the tents 4 months for non payment on a fine for no insurance and driving on suspended license. I did my time got out and never looked back at the most inhuman place I have ever experienced. If you have been to Arizona in the summer the heat is no joke. In the shade it is 110, and fully exposed or inside one of the tents up to 140. It is a concentration camp for low threat inmates. Whose crimes are for dui dwi didn't show for court didn't pay a fine small drug charges and one small yard named O yard (the smallest of them all) for illegal immigrants . Mean while he has rapist murderers drug lords child molesters and class one felons. In the towers which is a brand new state of the art facility. I do not disagree with the tents and there purpose. I just don't see why they put small timers in the worst jail in America, and the worst inmates in the nice air condition facility. To me it should be the other way around.

      I do disagree we are not in Mexico or a third country this America treat them with respect inmates also have laws that protected them. Sheriff is using to and raping women in there , but they won't say a damn thing about it. Come women speak your mind and let the world know how it is .

    LMAO 🤣I remember Joe when I was a youngster in Phoenix back in the early 90's. Love him or hate him, he always managed to get things done. Moral of the story is: If you're not willing to do the time then don't commit the crime.

    In 2002 i did 10 days in tent city full custody. I actually had a good time considering. I had 2 different tents. The girls in each were so sweet. They would give me their commecary like soda amd candy. When i came in i was only given one set of pinks and stripes. I finally talked to the laundry woman. She goes oh no!! Gave me like 2 weeks worth! And extra bedding. I had the pleasure of working in the kitchen in the am. Thats where the real food was. It was awesome. Some of the girls would give me more food cause they thought i was too skinny. It was camping with crackheads. Only rule, be in bunk check 3 times a day. Other than that we had free range. The rec room/ dining room/shower and restroom were open 24/7 only closed for cleaning. It had TV's. I dont understand them talking about the restrooms. They were always clean. Maybe men didnt clean as well as women. I had no complaints. I was crashed when my bunkies number amd mine did for roll out, she hung over and was like bunky its time to go!!! So i gave all my beddimg and stripes and pinks to the girls. I was easy as pie. Too easy if they even thought it was a punishment. No punishment at all. It was a joke. Everyone was so sweet and helpful. I had a good time so time went by fast. I was 21, first time to jail so it was all new to me. Ladies were helpful and welcoming. Even madey bunk for me so no critters climbed in. And not for any sort of favors. I made it clear i was straight. They were just nice. So i have no clue where these people are acting like it was the worst. I would never try to go back, but i sure would have a tiny bit of fear going back. And no again, the bathrooms were clean everytime i used them for ten days. They weren't made of gold so thatay be why they are yapping about that. It was clean.

      Right. The people who have proven that they need reconditioning and the establishment of habits, and structure should be first in line to work while locked up, but they aren't even considered for it. The people there for silly easily avoidable things obviously should be allowed to work too but some of them are legitimately in need of alone time while they get their life on track, unlike the people who are in and out, year by year because they refuse to live like a functioning adult.

      Working my sentence away was the best thing that ever happened to me but I still couldn't comprehend why career criminals weren't put to work, regardless of the inherit risks, I.e. contraband, escape, breach of trust, etc. Most of them are people that could change and are tired of the way they are living, just hustling all the time, but everytime they get locked up, they just get worse and worse because they are being incentivized to be a non contributor in the lives of the people around them and ok with biting the hands that feed them on the outside.

    This sherif is a legend. Damn right we should profile people. They’re in the jail which means they were stupid enough to get caught, so the punishment for a dui, considering they didn’t kill someone, should be some time out in the misery

    The guys an arsehole. Prisoners should be treated humanely especially when they have only been imprisoned for minor offences like many of the inmates at this jail.

    • @jonoessex
      @jonoessex Год назад

      @Thou Swell If you do time you should be treated humanely particularly if you are in prison for a relatively minor offence.

    Dont do the crime if you cant do the time. Put in some rattlesnakes and fireants on the ground. Make it so that they never want to come back. If you have seen impel down, you know what i mean
