I watched this Movie a couple years ago online. It’s so beautiful ❤. And I while I argue it’s one of Cartoon Saloon’s lesser films in terms of writing. It’s still a masterpiece of a film. And definitely should have won the Oscar of that year

The Tuatha Dé Danann in particular are the Gods of the Irish, they're the Aesir in a few words. Ruled by Nuada Airgeadláimh, who is the equivalent to Zeus and Odin. While Aos Sí or the Daoine Sídhe, which means "People of the Mounds" are the faeries, these are supernatural creatures or minor deities, like the Vanir (curiosuly, the Elves from Norse Pantheon are actually the Vanir), so Aisling is a Daoine Sídhe, she holds dominion over the wolves, but she's not a god. And, just for the sake of information, the Fomhóraigh are the anti-gods, of the Gods of nature, destruction, plague, blight and pestilence, kind of like the Jotnar.
