  • I blinged this 1 up to attract attention at shows. It was made of several parts engines using original marine hardware from the worst 1. 1hp @2300 rpm, 5.9 cu. in. , 2" bore, 1 7/8 stroke. Weighs 32 lbs. Its mounted on oak stringers at 13 degrees. The marine carb manifold is adjustable to make the carb float bowel level when the engine is tilted. Not the smallest lauson inboard at that time. The model RLM was the smallest @ 3/4hp, 1 3/4" bore. Crankshaft thrust bearing information video after the engine video.

    I love using a drill to start an old engine. Beats the heck out of pulling a rope.
