Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah Prayed for the progress of the Hyderabad city as
"Mera Shahr Logan se mamar karya satni"
Which Means "Oh God! Let my city be filled with people like fish in the sea".
This magnificent city was prepared on the plans of Mir Mumin.
Mullah Washi a poet of the Qutb Shahi Court commented on the greatness of Deccan as:
"Dakhan hai nageena, angoothi haijag, Anghoothi kon hurmat, nageena hi lag."
Which Means The Deccan is the precious stone; the ring is the world, A the value of the ring lies only in the jewel]
Regarding the greatness of medieval Deccan, Allama Iqbal remarked:
"Noor ke Zarron se qudrat ne banayee ye zamin. Ainah tapke Deccan ki khak agar paye fishar "
Which means nature has created this earth with the particles of divine light; the atmosphere of the Deccan radiates light and shines like a mirror.
Qutb Shahi Sultans extended their patronage to Telugu, Urdu, Persian, and Arabic and to the learned men and scholars settled in their dominion. This interaction of culture and intimate relationship let to the birth of a new tradition of language known as Dakhni Urdu.

All the fruits and benefits of this so called city went to Andhra people after 1956, and unfortunately Telangana people did not get anything from this city, even though they contributed a lot for 400 plus years by paying taxes to Nizams and Qutub Shahis.
