**Giveaway Closed** Did some glassing in the morning and found some more deer and then decided to give it one last go at a previous stand where we had about the only daylight Stealthcam photo of a buck. The wind was good and it was worth a shot!

As a whitetail hunter this was one of my favorite episodes. Have to get creative to kill whitetails because they are a completely different animal-Great video
Get creative? They sat in a box blind and shot a deer over a pile of corn.
@@danielsmith515 I agree with you about that but earlier they attempted to try to glass for them-it is definitely an animal they don’t have much experience hunting so I give props to them for trying. Not my style of hunting but if I had a big buck patterned and he was coming by a box blind-I sure as hell would have hunted there too-I still would rather go run and gun with a tree saddle if I had to pick but it sounds like they tried it.

That buck looked very tired and thin.
Yeah, it was hard to tell if the rut just flat wore him out or if he developed some kind of sickness or maybe both? He was so skinny. Seemed like an older buck so it worked out really good!
@@gethushin You should have nothing to worry about with diseases. The deer always look that way after the rut, especially the older bigger bucks. Congrats, contact me and come up to Wisconsin next year if you get some time.

Hard to beat a sweet basket rack like that! Grew up hunting mule deer and that was fun but when I got stationed in whitetail country and found out how delicious they are. Congrats on another successful harvest. Can't wait to see what's next.

Early season leading up to the rut and the start of gun season is the best time to harvest a Kansas buck. Early season with a bow is the best in my opinion. During that time in my area it’s the least pressured and the deer aren’t as weary.
Holy cow that buck didn’t know what hit him! What kind of broadheads do you use he had blood pumping out like a water fountain! Congratulations Casey really enjoyed the whole Best seasoning at 3.0 what a great way to end it!! Awesome video!

That's a great buck!! Yeah, he's skinny, but most bucks are at that time of year. High lung, mid far lung, got'em both. Dead within sight and complete pass through. Perfect! What arrow set up? Congrats!! Hunting whitetails will test your mental toughness! The devil is in the details! Consistency, perseverance, knowledge and a little bit of luck will kill big deer. I truly believe that if whitetail hunters had the experience of the mountain, they would make the best elk hunters. As a whitetail bow hunter, you get a ton of experience of being in close w/deer. You learn to read them, how to keep the noise down, when to move, how to draw with little movement. You learn what you can and can’t get away with when you have deer within bow range. Whitetails make you a better hunter all the way around. Glad you got it done!
Keep the videos coming. I know it would be a stretch, but I think it would be an AWESOME collab with You, DialedinHunter, BRO, THP, Lakeforkguy, Bobbyguy to do a "Tour" Spring Bear in AZ, Whitetail out east, Elk, Muley, turkey, Fall Bear, end with waterfowl in Kansas. WOW, I could see it now. That would be a busy year but WOW, I'm sitting at the edge of my seat waiting for that!!!

What fixed blade broadhead is that? That was a great shot, great pass through, and great footage of that massive hemorrhage wound channel ensuring a quick expiration of that beautiful buck.

I would get that deer tested before you eat. I shot one very similar in the general area you were hunting and it tested positive for CWD. I have heard of numerous deer testing positive this year. Not good for the herd.
