I am still having issues with my pc switching itself off randomly. I have finished my red glitter cardigan. There is no pattern it is one that I made up. The top down baby cardigan has basic instructions on many RUclips videos. I just embellish it with flowers and a shell edging.

Hi Jan, you look lovely, that top really looks nice with that necklace!
Thank you. It is one from my charity shop haul from Cleveleys
Who has whooping cough these days? I haven't heard that mentioned since I was about 6. We don't want that back do we?
Gall bladder. Yes that would account for the pain, digestive upset etc. My husband had his out not to many years ago, and it was key hole, quick and fast recovery. Just no lifting. (that means tubs of yarn to you). Hopefully they can schedule that sooner rather than later. The baby jacket looks darling. So cute. I bought some cosmetics recently as I was getting low on the basics. When they arrived, included were 3 vials of perfume. I tried one, and loved it. My husband noticed as well, and he isn't much for perfumes. He thought it was lovely and I should get some more. I got out my magnifying glass to see what it was, and then looked it up on line. I went to speak to my husband, and said "it is no wonder we liked this perfume" - it is by Tiffany and it is $125. per oz. We had a good laugh.
I suppose it's people who thought that whooping cough had died out and not been vaccinated. I had it as a small child. I haven't yet heard from my GP so no idea if or when my operation will take place. I seem to love the most expensive perfumes but the nearest I get to them is a free squirt in the big stores when they have testers on display.
Hello Jan. Can you please teach.your viewers how to crochet the lovely throw you have on the back of your settee
@@goldyyarde7022 It's just basic granny stitch squares crocheted together. There are many basic videos on RUclips. I don't do tutorials plus I am having camera and pc issues at the moment
Mum used to take my brother where there was boiling tar.
I still love the smell of hot tar. My Mum used to say that it cleared the sinus.
Hi Jan! Your red cardigan turned out lovely, and the baby sweater is adorable!!💜 I too prefer earthy scents.😊
Thank you Diane. A lot of my perfumes are actually aftershaves or mixed gender ones like CK One.
Hi Jan , You always look lovely. I haven't heard of whooping cough for over 35 years. I hope all goes well with your drs. Etc. What a beautiful applique book. That's a cute key-ring. I love crocheting baby clothes. What a beautiful cardigan! Sweet flowers! ❤ You are so talented! Of course, I love your red cardigan, too. Fantastic stitch. Perfumes can be so lovely to wear. Thank you so much for sharing ❤️ Have a great evening ❤
Unfortunately this hooping cough outbreak does affect adults as well. The adults don't tend to whoop and vomit. either way it is horrible a friend was diagnosed by her GP with it a month ago. It amazes me that every child has been vaccinated as a lot of us were when we were children in the 1960's along with Polio and Diptheria so why has it got such a grip yet again?
I think that people think that whooping cough has disappeared and are no longer vaccinated against it. Paula has been whooping for about 3 months now. I remember having it as a child but don't think that my son ever had it. I love crocheting baby clothes. I am trying to use up some of my part balls of yarn.
@@annbeirne9583 It's something that most of us thought that it had been eradicated by vaccine. Maybe this is a new strain. I watch Paula from Stitched by Mrs D and she says she and her daughters have been coughing for about 3 months now. Maybe not all children are vaccinated now. I presume that I was but remember getting it as a child.
You look really nice Jan! Yes Paula put out a video too! Whooping cough is no joke X
Yes it was lovely to see Paula again. Whooping cough is something that you don't immediately think of these days.
Hi Jan, love the blouse!❤
Thank you Lydia. It is from my charity shop haul in Cleveleys
Hi Jan!
Hi Sina
Brilliant video Jan as always!! 🥰💜🧶
Thank you for your kind comment
I used to work at Kendal Milne in the coffee bar many years ago. I'm sad to hear it is no longer there. Many celebrities used to come in at that time.
Sadly Kendals went many years ago. I forget who uses the building now. I bought my wedding dress from Kendals and used to go to the cafe when I visited Manchester. My Mum loved the ground coffee from there. They had a lovely coffee shop that sold lots of varieties of coffee beans and would even combine 2 or 3 different beans to make an individual mix. They would grind it for you if so requested.
Hello Jan, had my gallbladder out last year, 4 small incisions. Very sore for a day or two, then moving gets easier. I'm 58, and in the US.dont think it would be much different in UK. I have more issues with anesthesia than pain.
I had my gall bladder removed in Jan 2020, not a success, I have trouble digesting fat as in chocolate, dairy etc, that’s why I have to take those 300 billion probiotics/prebiotics I mentioned to you in an email a couple of days ago.
I agree, even a keyhole procedure would be a monumental adjustment afterwards. Unless absolutely necessary put it off.
I don't think that I have a choice but not spoken to my GP yet as to what the next step will be. I will keep you updated once that happens.
@@Notshortever I am in a lot of pain so I hope that there is a way to stop this. I haven't yet had the phone call from my GP so don't know what the next step will be. I was hoping that they could 'zap' the stone and disperse it but the technician said they usually remove the gall bladder altogether. I will have to wait and see what the recommendation is.
My dad had gallstones and had to have his gallbladder removed. I think I was about 14 at the time. He was a bus driver but had to stop and take a job in the Ash office of the bus company.x
