By having multiple turnovers, taking 4 sacks and having a QBR of 42? He had a good regular season but consistently shrinks in the playoffs where he has to face good competitions. Remember the 2020 playoffs where the Ravens lost 17-3? The Ravens defense gave up 10 points but Lamar threw a pick6 that the Ravens couldn't recover from.

@ShinefortheCam Many people talk about QB contracts and are they worth the money. Burrow isn't because he seems to be often injured. Going to a Super Bowl is an accomplishment, but that requires having a great key pieces like a top WR. Burrow has that, Lamar Jackson never has.

As a Ravens fan, I appreciate you. I’m always for holding the guys accountable for reaching the potential we see in them. Lamar’s talent potential is probably the highest we’ve ever seen. He won’t reach that ceiling without overcoming criticism. We criticize every single great because we expect greatness and we see it in them as a possibility. I’m just incredibly excited for him as he’s improved each season. Can’t wait to see the product on the field!!!

Everybody up in arms about Campbell being aggressive and as a Lions fan I have to admit there have been a couple times where I thought it was uncalled for most notably going for 2 after those penalties in Dallas but against SF I didn't have a problem with it.
For starters people have to understand the suspect kicking game of the Lions, their kicker hadn't made a kick that long outdoors in his career and was just barely over 50% as a whole from that distance or longer. So do you trust a suspect kicker or the number 1 Oline, top 3 running game and top 3 offense overall to gain 3-4 yards? Can't blame him for taking the latter. Also people forget that the play was there on them but Josh Reynolds dropped the ball, he catches those at a well above 90% clip, if he makes those catches and moves the chains the Lions very well win the game and Campbell looks like a genius.
What yall talking about, nobody got no superbowl wins but Patrick, Roger and Matthew but Lamar the only qb that's under pressure foh! These media people be moving the goal post when it comes to Lamar but we know why smh!
Last year was the first year they even gave Lamar a legit NFL level passing scheme and it still wasn't great, because they were still transitioning from Roman's offense.

This just shows you know nothing. Ravens offensive coaching staff was inept from 2020-2022. In 2021 the Ravens had the worst pass defense and the 19th best scoring defense. In the second half 2020 and 2021, the Ravens o-line was a bottom 10 offensive line. In 2021, our week 1 starting RBs were Ty'son Williams, Latavius Murray (who had only been on the team for 1 week), and Devonta Freeman... In 2022 our RBs were 2 people coming off of torn ACLs. And tell me, what exactly has Joe Burrow done? Like are you proud he made it to the Super Bowl and lost?

Been following Mark for two decades on TV and for most part love his analysis but he’s not objective at all when it comes to Lamar. Blinded by preconceived biases because he thought Lamar would be a bust. My theory is if Michael Vick didn’t waste his talent and lived up to his potential in Atlanta, Mark wouldn’t be so skeptical of Lamar. It’s up to Lamar to win it all to forever shed narratives about style of play that Vick could have shattered two decades ago if he lived up to his potential.
The irony is I think what will put Lamar over the hump is what put Marks Broncos over the hump in an all time great RB. I see Derrick Henry stiff arming Father Time the next few years and being what Terrell Davis was to the 1997-98 Broncos
Lamar is arguably one of the greatest regular season QBs we've ever seen but because of his poor playoff performances its easy for people to dismiss him.
Why do you disagree with that? Playoffs MATTER. It is the stage where you play the BEST TEAMS. If you can't perform in that environment, you're simply not one of the best. It's easy to beat up on Cleveland Browns Carolina Panthers, and Jacksonville Jaguars in the regular season.

Burrow has been to the SB. Had a comeback win against Mahomes in Arrowhead to get there. Herbert got a chargers team that was coached by Brandon Staley to the playoffs, and is on a historic pace individually for his career as a passer. He didn't even talk about Trevor Lawrence, this is an AFC North episode. But, IMO, Lawrence is garbage.
This is the same thing QBs like Manning dealt with for a decade before he won a SB. QBs like Brees and Rodgers have more accolades than Lamar, and a SB ring a piece, and are still referred to as playoff choke artists. It is what it is.

Purdy, on the other hand, gets nearly no credit for his run, despite leading the NFL in every significant individual passing metric. The media at large has QBs like Hurts, Lawrence, Tua and Dak ahead of Purdy.
Hurts regressed to being one of the most turnover prone QBs in the league this year, with an even better supporting cast. He was exposed as a read and run QB without Steichan holding his hand.

You need hand on the ground DEs to move to a 4-3. It's not an easy transition if you have the wrong players. And maybe in 1985 when Schlereth played football, 3-4 defenses went to a traditional nickel when facing single-back formations. Now-a-days they go to a 3-3-5 so they still have three down lineman.
As for Lamar or Dak being under more pressure, nonsense. Every starting QB in the league is under a tremendous amount of pressure every year. The ones who haven't yet gotten the big paydays are under the most pressure. If Lamar or Dak flame out completely from this point on, they are still jet-setters. How can they be under more pressure than the guy who's gonna be selling cars for 30 years if he flames out?
I’m only in a NFL locker room every Friday of the year and I still watch about 30 hours of take a week. They played that janky ass 3-3-5 shit when I played too. They are still playing a four down front in nickel my friend.

Ravens have no excuses, they clearly had the best roster last year and CHOKED to the best QB in the league Mahomes. That loss is mostly on the OC and Lamar unfortunately
So why nobody picked that roster to play like that going into the season? They didn’t have nowhere close to the best roster. They don’t have an elite guy at any of the positions they say are the most important besides qb. Who’s at edge, corner, wr, OT were being rotated in and out and mark andrews wasn’t there. They played the best most of the season vs expectations but that roster didn’t even compare to SF or Philly roster. Browns had a better roster. Dallas had a better roster
