Thank you for this new vocal analysis and this time for Lee YoungHyun ! She's a very good singer ! Now I can't wait for the next vocal analysis of my Queen Sohyang, thank you very much ! ❤
She has some really great G5s. Her mix is really well trained, she's part of an small, elite group of female vocalists from Korea that can support F#5/G5.
How YG sucks promoting this talented woman makes me angry, His idol is not even an average singer, but this Woman is Talented AF, She's more than Great
Hmmm, seungyoon, lee hi, and daesung and maybe minzy and suhyun too is actually a great singer so what do you mean by "not even an average singer"? I know YG is sucks, but it's not an excuse to degrading and disrespect his idol skill
@@hexawira7134 I agree. Those you have mention are definitely above average vocalists. But I don't think Younghyun is an idol and I'm pretty sure Big Mama was part of sub company of Yg
@@melaniaarce8226 Big mama was not part of a sub company in yg. They were actually a project group between yg and Mboat yet they were managed and considered mostly as yg artists alongside with gummy and wheesung.
Her mix is absolutely flawless. So much resonance. Her lows are good too. She might not use her head voice much but sounds really pretty. She's one of the Top vocal divas in Korea.
Still can't believe that YG used to have a better vocalist than SM back then. Younghyun constantly end up all SM female vocalist (including Lina CSJH The Grace) with G3/Ab3-F#5/G5-A5 as her supported range
@@sally-dg3ml true omg, someone please tell YG to hire back their old vocal trainer. I dont know who are they but they must a very great vocal trainer. It's proven that both of them become the stronger one in YG
Younghyun and her group big mama are way ahead sm female vocalists. They were considered as divas and even professors of big universities in korea so they're totally not on par and doesn't even comes close to them in vocals.
@@PhantomSinging_channel I guess growls are like whistles in that they can't be supported I think technique and style can coexist. I tend to prefer technique because my natural ability is pretty limited. I have around C#2/D2-E4 of chest range, so can't try to be too stylistic. Ps: F4-A4 is a very heady mess lmao
@@soloquieroveryoutubeparaqu5384 I wouldn't compare whistles with growls for too many reasons. 1- whistle is a vocal register not a vocal effect like the growl. 2- whistle cannot be supported because the vocal cords are not touching, while growl is produced by adding a certain kind of throatiness. (throatiness= tension = strain). 3- a growl can be produced unhealthily, example: Xtina. and can be produced more healthily like Beyonce.
@@soloquieroveryoutubeparaqu5384 It really depends on how you execute them. some are worse some are as bad/good. Healthy growls and squalls aren't supposed to be harmful for the voice.

Thank you so much for this, she's very underrated indeed. Will you also analyse some non-asian vocalists like Ariana/Demi? Also, I love your system and editing, although it could be better and more complicated, including more aspects and areas of vocals but still, for the beginning it's very promising, I guess) At least, you're basing on actual skill level and not some impressive range/whistle and other show-off stuff
Support is the act of engaging the diaphragm to control the air flow that passes through a relaxed neutral larynx and connected vocal cords, and then the sound amplifies in the resonator to create the sound. In order to resonante no tension should be evident. With a very open and rounded sound, and without nasality. *I'll do a video explaining ALL this in much more details.

So Hyang, Park Kiyoung, and Son Seung Yeon pleasee

She doesn't have G#5. Most of her G#5s in 'One More Day' are very messy. The ones that sound good are edited and pitch corrected.
