The second time. Sounds great ,. Before the Z cone thing. ,. The last sound check to raspy,. The second ck. Has much deeper.... but not raspy sound , throatyer clean sound ! Nice
Gotta love that 113! I wish TAB Performance made systems for the raider/stratoliner/roadliner. Sounds so good! I’d say there was a definite difference in sound with the torque ring/come in. I think it sound even better and hey who doesn’t like more torque!
TAB makes great stuff, the slip-ons are awesome, but I removed the rings/cones.... there was no real gain and the sound was super tinny and annoying in person.
LOVE it! I've been riding for more than 35 years.. lots of different bikes.... this is by far the best combo of cruiser/sport/bagger I have ever been on. It obviously isn't as fast as a ducati 1000 ss, but I feel like I'm on one sometimes because it feels so nimble to me... and I love the torqueiness. My advice always though.. Try to ride one more than a few miles if you can just to make sure it 'fits' you. As good as someone else might say it is.. if your ergonomics aren't in line with what you ride.. no bueno. IE: my husband has a 19 road glide.. I am not a harley gal, but I have to admit that it is a sweet bike... however.. it is about 50% less comfortable for me to ride and I would choose my Eluder again and again... would be nice to have an oversized cam and an ECU flash though .. he did a stage II and it flys like a bat out of hell ;)
not at all .. TAB is a great company and I love the slip-ons, but I removed rings and cones after about 100 miles and sent them back .. I did run the rings by themselves for a bit too... I can't recommend. That said.. different strokes for different folks .. the are super easy to install .. I recommend picking a route of about 10 miles at least .. with some varied speeds .. get a good before feel .. take some notes and go pro if you have something like that .. then install them and run the same route the same day. Curious of your thoughts on them after.
@bitchzilla OK, so I put them in today. Now I ride very aggressive anyway, and I have Ivan's Flash. My take, yes I can hear the reverb but mainly when I'm revving it at a dead stop not so much while I'm riding, but I'll tell ya I absolutely feel the power gain Love the torque increase the reverb I'll have to deal with but it's well worth it for the power gain.
@@aldec2585 I don't have Ivan's flash on my Eluder... yet.. but do on my Bolt, so I understand the difference it can make... but I am a pretty aggressive rider too, and am surprised you find rings have a positive impact, especially on top of that. In any case.. Awesome for you! .. and I bet TAB will love the news too :-)
@bitchzilla Get Ivan's tune you won't believe it's the same bike. As for the torque rings, my bike was just ok with the Zombies but adding the back pressure from the rings is pushing me back hard into my backrest 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Now you need to understand with Ivan's tune my rev limiter doesn't kick in until like 5500 rpms before it was like 4300 rpms so the bike boogies pretty well. I've got quite a few clips check some out. Al, ✌️
TAB only has slip-ons with your choice of baffle and tips.. headers remain stock. www.tabperformance.com/yamaha-star-touring-black-exhaust-pipe-mufflers-p/311-2290.htm I have the Zombies with black slash tip. I'm also running the power commander but don't recommend it unless you are going to PAIR block your intake and bypass your 02 sensors. Freedom Exhaust is the only company to my knowledge who offers an off the shelf header back solution. I have no personal experience with the Freedom system.
@@CaptainSaltBae gotcha .. you can't replace the stock baffle but you can only blow a hole through it with a hole saw. it does make a difference... and it is free.. That way if it is enough for you.. cool.. if not.. step on up to a slip on.

I agree 👍
Hi, did you feel any Torque gain? I have a Torque ring coming Friday.
I'm hoping to turn it down a decibel or so and pick up a little Torque.

@bitchzilla Will do, thx for your reply 👍

Al, ✌️
Did you use the stock pipes and just throw the baffles and tips in or did you use the full tab slip ons
