Yes I love Iron Maiden AND love Brazil. I met Nicko at a music show near Toronto Canada last month in the car park. He was all alone and still took 5 minutes to chat with me. He is a super nice bloke. I've also been to Brazil 3 times and it is such a beautiful county with super nice people.
Yes I am seeing them next week. This is going to be my first concert I ever went. Edit:I just say them I love every minute, they play wonderful, wish it haven't ended.
Iron Maiden was the first concert I went to back in 1986. It was the "somewhere on tour" tour. I also saw whitesnake with Priest for their 30 anniversary of the British Steel album's release. Up The Irons!
Awesome! My first concert was Maiden, Piece of mind tour with Quiet Riot opening... that was 35 years ago. I’m seeing Maiden again on July 22nd (11 days from this post). It is also going to be my last “arena” concert! I can’t stand going to big shows anymore, the booze is overpriced, you can’t smoke or vape (I vape), it’s just not a party like it used to be.....but Maiden is worth it! You won’t be disappointed!
Alexander the Great! Nicko really wants to play it but they never have live! This is the opportunity, please Steve and the other guys, play Alexander the Great for at least once.
Nicko is definitely always worth a watch, if ever there's a guy you'd love to hang in the pub with its him...best impression of Maiden EVER at the end of the video hahaha love it. Up the Irons!!
Thanks so much Nicko! This is great! Been a huge fan since 1981!! My first concert was the World Slavery Tour!! I took my then 14 year old son to his first concert in 2017 which was the Book of Souls tour! Was such a great show and memory! Both of us throwing horns and head banging!! Taking him and my daughter to her first concert on the 24th in Bristow VA!!! Can't wait!!! Love Yah All!! \m/ UP THE IRONS! \m/
I've missed you guys three bloody times (work)... I hope you guys will come to Canada one more time (after this COVID crap is over) - maybe then... after 35 years of loving the journey. If I don't get to see you guys... well.. thanks for the music - best of luck... and stay safe guys!
Nicko was one of my inspirations when I started playing drums. Nicko, I'll be watching on July 20th in Atlanta. First Maiden show for me, I hope it will be as amazing as it was the first time I heard The Trooper!!!
I was 13 years old. Bought Fear Of The Dark without knowing anything about metal or Iron Maiden, bought it just for the cover. From there everything changed for me, Nicko is the reason I started playing drums, now after a long time he is still numer one, what an absolute legend and piece of history!
"We can't satisfy all of you, all of the time"... You could definitely satisfy most fans now by playing some classic 80s songs that have been overlooked for too long. Twilight Zone Total Eclipse Ganglands The Duellists Back in the Village Sea of Madness Stranger in a Strange Land Alexander the Great Infinite Dreams Only the good die young ANY 4 or 5 of those instead of the predictable stuff we hear every tour would make it SO MUCH MORE SPECIAL. I do love Maiden. Always have, always will...
@@RobertJones-xq1si But for Maiden standards that's as far as it gets. I mean I would love to see a tour with all the underrated songs and wouldn't mind if they skipped Trooper, NotB, Rtth and so on, but thats not what the average concert goer wants.
@@michi9955 Maiden as an entity should never give a fuck about what the 'average' concert goer wants. It's not what they're about. In 2006 they played a new album in its entirety. Not many would have wanted it but the shows sold well. Most Maiden fans are old school and a setlist of the ones I suggested would be a big thank you from the band for us supporting them for over three decades. In my opinion.
lol no one wants gangland. But yeah I'd happily see them replace literally anything on the setlist with those tunes, even if it was just as a one-time thing
i love how animated and upbeat Nicko is. one of my top 5 favorite drummers of all time! in case Nicko wants to know the other 4, its Dave Grohl, Nick Menza, Dave Lombardo, and Dale Crover and I never put them in any particular order cause they're all my favorites! keep crushing forward like the battering ram you guys are! mucho amore de Texas! (much love from Texas!)
I learned that gesture from the poster for Kes. Double pipes Never stop rocking. Been Maiden fan for 35 years. Never seen them live but damn they are still the hardest out there. I'm in the states but nothing compares to British metal. My friends thought I was insane. And dammit I was.
It's when he flashed what looks like he is giving a peace sign but in Britain it's equivalent to giving the middle finger. If the palm of the hand is facing you then it's like up yours . If the palm is out then it's like peace or v for victory.
I rewatched the intro like 5-6 times. Also Where Eagles Dare is one of the best songs they made. Me and my brother used to play this a lot when we were younger. I play bass and he drums, it's a really good song to play if you can
Damn.. I remember back in 83 when I first picked up Piece of Mind and heard that intro to "Where Eagles Dare".. My jaw hit the ground. Still one of my favorite opening tracks to any Iron Maiden album.
I’m getting to see these guys for the first time in three years when I’m seeing them in August in Indiana I can’t fucking wait I’ve seen these guys 10 times now I love it each time
been following and buying iron maiden cassette tapes cd's Vinyl 's abd vcr tapes and dvd's and blu-ray dvd's of iron maiden since 1987 and been too 4 of their live concerts this be my 5th time i'll see them live this tour in fall. and i don't care what they play i'm just glad their playing whatever they play live. and nicko is the funniest buy from what i've seen in his interviews.
I love at 5:30 how Nicko sums up the "birds eye?" ending of Aces High in 10 seconds - his drums, the guitars, the Steve's bass "machine gun", Bruce's "scream for me", kick ka, biff, "FINISHED". What a laugh riot 'e is.😁😂🤣
When I went to London to see this tour, I had no idea about the giant spitfire. It was incredible. I’ve only ever been to two shows, but they were two of the the most memorable moments of my life.
My favorite drummer ever........yes, I know he’s not as technical as some other drummers but he’s the epitome of a drummer that’s perfect for his band! Up the irons!
I'm glad you guys give us the music for free online. Me the poor bugger can't afford tickets. Thanks for the music its a big deal in my life. Up The Irons.
Seen the tour. Nicko to me is the best drummer in the world today. One love to our Mother England. How your lost children of New England need you now more than ever. 2020 your grandson is dying. How we need your crown now.😔😪.
Agradecemos ,a todos vocês pela entrega todos estes anos trazendo boa música a nos brasileiros ,com muita sinceridade em cima do palco ,e espero ouvi-los muito e muitos anos
I got to see them at the 02 last year on their final show and my god was it amazing! Those of you who are seeing them this year you are in for one hell of a ride! Side note would be awesome if Nicko did an autobiography much like Bruce did. Have it narrated by Nicko. Think it would be an amazing story plus he comes across funny (and a little mad!)
Nicko is amazing. Such a nice guy and a legendary drummer. See you guys here in Brazil in a few months. \,,/
amen
Hello, fellow Maiden fan. I would love to visit your beautiful country and see Maiden.
I will be there! Uhuuuuuu

Uma figuraça.
How can any not love this man ? So talented, humble and a Metal maniac.
Nicko should continue his "Listen With Nicko" Series. He's awesome at podcasts!
I love those
Was thinking the exact same thing.
Adrian Smith on Nicko McBrain: Well what can I say, he's a freakin maniac! (laughs)
Or Janick Gers "What to say about NICK probably best left unsaid!"
Hes like Animal from the Muppets :D
To be exact andrian Smith says.. '' HE'S A LUNATIC.... WHAT CAN I SAY 😉😉
I could listen to Nicko go on all day. Love this man!!!
Incredible drummer! And if he ever loses his mind, nobody will be able to notice 😂
Mein Gott. Nicko is a natural comedian. I could be watching him like this all day!!!
He's a one of a kind madman, you gotta love him!
Omg Nicko is a maniac I love it! He is so entertaining and genuine in interviews and an absolute legend of a drummer!

Iron Maiden don't do requests they only play what they can and want! ATG is not one of them and never will be

Why? Is the worst song of the best album
Nicko is so funny. Loving the "Nicko's Setlist" series. Amazing
He's got to be one of the nicest people out there. But even legends age!
All living things age. The least we humans can do is to age gracefully.

Don't ever change Nicko! Love this man!
He is already 67. I hope Nicko is able to play eternally.
Eternally? yes, but but not in this life.
He'll be around for quite a while. He seems like a pretty healthy and youthful at heart guy. He's super energetic also. He isn't going anywhere!
He’ll play somewhere in Time when he’s passed this life into the nxt
One of my favorite drummers of all time and also one of the coolest guys you could ever meet!!!

This guy is such a legend! Great drummer, awesome personality!
He really is an underrated drummer and many would not even acknowledge his talent . But he has got some go in him .
He's a bad ass on the drums and he had me laughing so hard. I'm ready to go to see Iron Maiden this tour!

This is seriously one of the best videos on RUclips, ever. Thanks!
"We can't satisfy all of you, all of the time"...

To be fair, this tour had/has a lot of surprises in the setlist. Though I'd love to hear infinite dreams live once
