I want to chime in and say this is my place! I am so excited to have Drew and Paul here to resolve my leaky roof issues now and prevent them well into the future. After seeing their work on other places it was a no brainer to contact them. This is my "forever home" and the only way it's going to survive is to get the water under control. It's a little embarrassing to see all of the weed growth but I am retiring tomorrow, May 31st, 2024, and I have my to do list ready to go! 🙂
We are so excited that you found us on RUclips and called us. It’s even better that you was only an hour and a half away from our homebase that made it a little bit easier. I’m glad you like it
I’m glad you found my videos too and it is very easy to do your own Paul my right hand man and myself can do a smaller Mobile Home Roof in two days so I’m guessing somebody with no experience at all could easily do it in four thank you for glad to help
Not very many two man crews could get that much work done in a day! I would hurting after working like that. I’m a year younger than you Drew. Thanks for showing how it’s done!
Tell me about it it’s hard to find anybody that works like Paul and I do. I am blessed to have Paul working with me and helping me every day. You see what we get done today new video this evening by the way did you know I have a Scrapping channel. My channel is Scrapping With Grandpa.
@@Drewsroofingandhomerepair Yes I watched a some videos from your scraping channel. I’m subscribed to both your RUclips channels. Today to be an above average employee almost anywhere all you have to do is show up and work your shift. I worked on roofs for a few years when I was young. I worked with some men that worked hard like you guys. I saw people quit before lunch on their first day on the job over 40 years ago. I’m sure you’ve seen many people quit because they couldn’t handle the hard work. You should do a video of stories from your personal experience about people you’ve seen quit.
If I could come there and do your roof for free, I would I love your comments. Thank you for watching. I hope one day you can find somebody in your area to do your roof or you can afford to pay me to come do it. I might even give you a discount.

1 year ago did a re-shingle on our pitched roof 16x80. Did a shingle tear off and replaced plywood as needed. Re-roofed with 30yr shingles over perimeter ice guard. Looking back I wish we would've added a few inches of boxed overhang. I hate that the roof water basically sheds down the siding. Adding gutters could help, but we live in an oak forest where tree debris falls almost year around.
I know i asked 2 days ago, but sometimes yall are up north so here it goes, are yall able to do this in Maryland? Roofers here dont seem familiar with this technique. They want to seal my roof but its leaking at the seams/edges and when it rains it pours down the siding some areas like a rapid waterfall!
If I came to Maryland to be honest with you, it would probably be expensive as we are in North Carolina. How big is your mobile home? How wide is it and how long is it? 910-294-1761. Send me a few pictures I might be interested.
Quick question for you. If someone wanted to do over a metal roof like in your video but wanted to use a different material (I.e. shingles or a plain metal roof) would the process in terms of setup be the same?
You wouldn’t be able to use Shingles metal is a possibility if your roof has a pitch you noticed the one that I’m working on now does not have a pitch you would not be able to metal or shingles on that roof. There are some companies that will put metal roof on mobile homes. I’m just not sure as I’m a fan of them the Metal Roof I’m talking about not a fan.
I think so. If your house is less than 60 feet I use 20 x 50 Epdm 16 pieces of termination bar, two bags of termination screws 1 gallon of seam cleaner roll of 6 inch seam tape 1 gallon of primer 2 buckets of substrate glue
@@Drewsroofingandhomerepair drew how thick is that ? Is 60mil overkill too much ?? They wanna cut the roof off rebuild it inside the wooden beams put 3/4 plywood down then installation then the epdm rubber with drip edge you guys don’t cut the roofs off right ? Thanks brothA love your channel Joey

Which direction would you run the plywood on a. Double wide?
Same way
What mil epdm are you guys using? Apologies if you already mentioned it.
on this 1 we used 60 mill normally we use 045
@@Drewsroofingandhomerepair I see. Do you have a video with a full materials list?

Where can you get the epdm at?
ABC Supply store
Okay one question is the 0.45 ?? Is that the mill? Thickness ?? Ty brotha lol cut the vines lol
If you go to Best and buy the stuff yes 0.45 rubber that is the thickness or the mill and yes, we’re taking them vines down lol

I use 045 rubber not the 60 mil. It’s a lot cheaper. Looks like you have a lot of work on your hands.
