Thanks how does one harden, anneal or temper (I still get confused with those methods) a stainless steel spring so that it doesn't suffer metal fatigue and split into two over time (stainless steel spring for example for scissors). What temperature and for how long and do I quench in water, oil or air?
    God bless. Revelation 21:4

Need to add the statement - When dealing with Iron based metals--. Non Ferrous metals are a whole different process and are QUENCHED at hi temperature to Anneal .
