Eric Doesn’t Need any Help in the Singing department. Eric has an Amazing Voice!
Eric's voice was giving out a lot in Brussels, good idea bringing in some help to keep audiences happy. We were singing the songs from the audience for him over here.

Saw these guys in Manchester a few nights ago. Brilliant show, even with Eric's voice issues. Did not detract one iota from the quality of the show. Massive professionalism! Looking forward to Liverpool in July.

Eric has had some "vocal issues" for a few weeks. He posted on instagram that he had the idea of getting Michele Luppi to help him out, and at the Wolverhampton gig mentioned his presence but not what he was doing, but he didn't bother in London. In watching the video, you can see/hear Eric dropping out and Michele is filling in a lot. Michele used to be in a band called Mr Pig, which was an Italian Mr Bog cover band. He also "helped out" David Coverdale on tour (as he hasn't been able to sing live for close to 30 years.)
id be very disappointed if id paid for a ticket to watch a tribute guy sing, should have cancelled until his voice was better

Surprised Paul's not wearing his earphones, I wonder if he's had improvement in his hearing issues, he was seriously concerned about going deaf at one point, his tinnitus was that bad after all the years of loud amps.
Probably using in-ear monitors these days. They help alot with stage noise/volume. You balance out what you want to hear in them w/o killing your hearing...T

I don't think anyone knows this, but 20 years ago today, when MR.BIG was not active, the band Eric was a part of (TMG) released an album. The official video for one of the songs, "Our time is now", was recently uploaded. Please give it a listen😊

Saw Mr Big on 17.3.2024 in Cologne. Compared to London his voice was marvellous. I'm sorry for London but I think having the second singer as a backup was a fair decision.
Fair enough but at least he’s not using auto-tune like so many do today. I prefer authenticity more than perfection.

His name Is Michele Luppi. He Is and italian Singer, bassist and producer. For some dates he help Eric Martin with his back vocals due some eric's voice's problem.

I'm wondering why the background singer is doubling Eric?
He blew his voice out at a previous show. He is there to bolster Eric’s lines. I saw them in Manchester and he really, really struggled. Some points he didn’t sing at all as it had gone.
@@mowlie2000I was thinking about getting tickets for the Toronto show but I’m not convinced I want to see them with Eric’s voice gone. I don’t want it to taint my feelings about them as a band.
@@ironblud I felt the same, but already had tickets. I don't think anyone would have noticed had they done the same as Whitesnake (who also have Michele "helping out" with Coverdale's vocals) and had him on the side playing/faking keyboards while singing.

yeah this leg of the tour he has been having issues...i think after the tour of Asia his vocal cords are exhausted as he isn't young anymore. But at least he has the humility to call in an additional singer to aid him instead of giving fans a garbage show. Sad to see our favorite artist age

Martin lost his voice many years ago. This is how he have being singing for the last 13-15 years.
Nick, the drummer he can sing 100% better. He is very god singer and do alot of singing and testing of microphones. Look it up here on the tube.

Eric isn’t just struggling, he’s out of tune. Has he got hearing problems too? Such a shame. I hope he pulls it all back together.
Eric with a bit of flu or not, to have another singer basically overdubbing all lead vocals is just embarrassing. No, he is NOT doing backing vocals as some delusional people are trying to say. I'm not sure how they had the nerve to do this- I wouldn't, I'd rather cancel the show.
It is very odd. Saw the band in Pittsburgh and it’s not the flu. Just nothing left. Paul and Billy= unbelievable.
He is doubling his vocals that's true, but Eric is 100% singing. He's having issues, but he's trying to find a way. Truth is if this was the bands 3rd tour he'd be cancelling shows, but being the last tour that's a bit of a problem other members have other commitments. It's clear that the majority of what your hear is clearly Eric. It's ain't perfect but it's all good given the circumstances
I was in Cologne 14 days ago. Honestly, Erics voice is a pain in the ass and Billys solo was absolutely boring. Paul is playing on a top level. I am a big Mr. Big fan but Eric ruins the show and this everytime noodling of Billy …… I looked in the eyes of many fans when he played the solo and I have seen many disappointed faces. Anyway, the songs were great, many nostalgic vibes. Pauls the man
I was there too but loved the voice. I didnt notice any issues. Even the crowd was better. Maybe the nice german beer. 😅

I'm sorry but Martin really should hang up the mic NOW! He sounds appalling and it's embarrassing that they have to rely so much on another singer at the back of the stage!
He got the flu, which is why he sounds like he does. They flew Michele in for a couple of shows to keep the ball rolling.
a@@Metallex At best he was a backround singer and did't need to be there. Flu or not Eric's voice was dominent. Besides I think it's all about Paul and Billy anyway.
Eric is a trooper for wanting to keep the tour rolling as well as possible even with his vocal issues. That takes balls...and honesty about the situation. kudos to him..T @@stevecolton488
