I'm pretty sure this was one of the last moments to ever use the 1997 ''the yellow house'' redesign in which by the next month, it re-uses the original bricky design while the windows has left unchanged but features white outlines.
They were smart the producers - one funny guy, one babe. Perfect morning wake-up telly. I would love to see it back but only if they were allowed to do it like this
The end of TV-am and the start of GM-TV was the best thing that ever happened to The Big Breakfast. Viewers switched over to Channel 4 in their droves. Shame Channel 4 wouldn’t find a budget to bring it back. And when BB finished, that goddamn awful RI:SE
I'd be happy if C4 re-ran old BB episodes close to the original date they were aired. They could use one of their less popular channels like More4 or 4seven.
This is actually the first video I know of to feature a good quality opening sequence with the Yellow Big Breakfast house. I've had one on my channel for a few years, but it came from a poor VHS recording and is dismal quality.
