I have been up in the air and about which product I was going to use , looks good so I think I will go with this. The fact you are just a regular person and not paid by the company is good to hear. Thanks.
2nd time using it, is a pain using the roller to be honest I end up using the brush on the entire porch but…. I know,I know maybe I wasn’t supposed to but I have a lot to do and I need it to move forward!!!! I would say….. do whatever works for you!!!! Durability? I applied this 6 years ago and it looked great even powerwash didn’t do anything to it, now if you asked why again? I removed everything and build a new patio and the areas the I applied Granite grip were removed and is everything new!!! I recommend the paint is durable but it takes patience in my personal opinion I want results right away!!🤷🏽♂️
Very good product, I used this on my Front porch and chipped and salt-damaged front steps. hid all ugliness. It's gritty when dry but very slippery when wet (downside). We tried walking on it with different footwear but still slippery when wet. Now I'm going to buy another Gallon of it along with anti-slip sand to sprinkle on it while applying this not needed extra coat.
@@codyscorner4337 Porch was Broom finish and steps were salt damaged and rough. Anti slip sand is inexpensive so I would still use when applying This paint first time. Otherwise will need more paint to add sand on the surface.
Thanks so much! Going to use this on my patio was concerned about current paint chips that I could not remove with thinner This will definitely cover that without having to hire a professional!!
I think it would look good. However, you may want to add some clear sand to the product to give it more adhesion being that you will be walking on it while wet a bit more than other applications. Same sand you would use for an epoxy floor to give grip. May also test an area first before doing the whole thing, like steps or something?
I have seen few vids on this and they made complicated. Your video is the best, it tops them all...I’m going to do same thing and use your method. Thanks for sharing...oh btw it looks great what you did with your porch. Awesome
Thank you for great review looks great 👏🏽 love the color of your house as well. Do you mind me asking what color did you use for the exterior? Thank you!
Dang, that’s unfortunate. Mine is still holding up really well. No peeling. So strange how some have great results and others fail after a while. No idea why
thanks. came out great.... were wondering what color to pick. wondering if the same color as the house walls would be too much of the same? yours looks just fine. would you change the color if you had to do it again?
I’d recommend doing a small section and see how you like it before going all in if possible. I’d hate to recommend it and you don’t like it. But for me, it’s still holding up great. I haven’t done anything to it but give it a brush off a while ago to clean the dirt from the walk path. No issues.
They make a concrete sealer, I would imagine adding that to the top of the paint would make it last much longer. I’ll let you know, I just got the sealer, just gotta get the paint.
I applied this to a properly prepared concrete pad where my hot tub is. For the past two years it has not peeled anywhere, and is perfect for exiting the tub without slipping.
I’ve had it on ever since I made this video and is holding strong. Haven’t had issues and it’s right in front of my house entry door so fairly trafficked. Again I don’t get any money from saying this. Just my experience.
I have a small walkway prob about 15 ft long by 3 ft wide ,, I would love to do this in the spring. Yours really came out great ,, have you had any issues with wear and tear , thanks great video
@@StewartMotoring Well yes we want update on the bear concrete product you applied. Every product on the market looks great the first day you put it down. The real question is how did it hold up a year in half later.
My concrete patio now is just concrete and very textured and sharp. It’s really rough for my toddlers. Will this soften the texture and not be rough for the kids?
From my experience with this install, I think it would make it softer. It’s pretty nice to walk on but also not slippery. But I’d just recommend getting a gallon and doing a test spot to see if you like it.
I have wood steps leading from my garage floor to the house, will this work on wood? i also get snow where i live, so i'm concerned if my feet are wet, will it be slippery? AND.... can you be barefoot on it in the Spring / Summer? thanks for any help.
If I were to patch the cracks and pot holes in my concrete driveway and then applied this product do you think the patches would be noticeable even after 3 coats?
You need to follow the instructions for cleaning and depending on the surface finish of your concrete you may need to acid etch which gives it a rougher finish for the coating to bond with. But no primer or sanding.
Thanks for recommending directly pouring on the concrete.. I was a nervous because I thought my 1st coat looked a bit light so when I do the second coat I'll be pouring lol
Instructions does say “2 coats required” so the pour method, you’ll be using more gallons of paint, as he used 2.5 gallons for that small area that maybe 2 woulda been enough
God I wish more people were like you, straight to the point and no extra explaining. Awesome review!

Looks great! Thanks for the short but informative video.
I'm using beige right now and I'm really excited by the sandy look so far. Very forgiving on old concrete that was painted and needed a big touch up
Can you tell me what paint you using n what color

Thanks for clarifying this. About to go to home depot to get six 5 gallon buckets of this. Really excited to refresh our pool area.
So only add sand to first coat? Then do 2 more coats on top?
Did you put it around your pool? Considering what to do around mine.
Thanks for sharing. One of the best videos by far!
Thanks so much! Going to use this on my patio was concerned about current paint chips that I could not remove with thinner This will definitely cover that without having to hire a professional!!
How’d it work out
Thanks for the info. We are painting some brick today actually and have already decided we want to do this on our front patio and walkway. Good stuff.
What did you do to prepare the concrete prior to painting?
That does look really good. I was only looking for exterior paint but now have some new ideas :p
Thank you for the video. I wonder if a squeegee would work instead of the roller
How was this stuff during winter? Does it hold up against shoveling ?
It’s held up great for me, I’ve shoveled it multiple times
I love it! Looks beautiful!🥰 And thanks for sharing. I’m definitely going to use this product for my condo’s concrete deck.
Awesome. Good luck 😄

How has it held up after 3 years?
Good no complaints
Love it!!! I would recommend using a piece of cardboard to remove excess paint before applying to stencil.
I would like to hear a long term review, see how it is holding up
I can tell you it looks real good still. No flaking or issues.
Great video! I was pretty much already sold on using this for my place but checking around to see if I missed anything.
Looked great for 1 year. We acid washed everything before applying. In the second year it started to peel and severely faded.
Dang, that’s unfortunate. Mine is still holding up really well. No peeling. So strange how some have great results and others fail after a while. No idea why
Good, honest, authentic. Thanks.
Looks awesome. Any idea about how many sq ft that is for the 2.5 gallons?
thanks. came out great.... were wondering what color to pick. wondering if the same color as the house walls would be too much of the same? yours looks just fine. would you change the color if you had to do it again?
Good video - how is the texture on the bare feet? is is rough or hurt? Thinking about this for the outside patio.
You can also use a air texture gun from harbor freight. Its a little easier
Thx for review. The amount used helps a lot!!
the finish looks so nice. well done
I was looking to do this, Appreciate you giving the review, thanks.
Looks great! Can you please tell me what color name you used? That's exactly what we want for our pool deck. Thanks for sharing.
Grey

Wow looks amazing. Do u know if you can power wash it after some time?
Im not sure 🤔
Does it bond to concrete porch?
Any instructions what Salt to use in the winter? Will it affect the finish?
Can you explain more about the prep before painting?
Thank you so much. This was very helpful as I am considering doing my patio and pool area to save money. 👏🏾👏🏾🙂
Nice video! Question: Does it grow mold / mildew / algae? Can it be pressure washed?
I would feel comfortable pressure washing it. It’s held up really well. Just have to do a really good job with prep. I haven’t noticed any mold
You sold me. Im going to power wash my walkway and then use the same product since home depot is 6 miles from my house. Thank you very much.
Welcome. Wish I made some commission this this review lmao. But yea it has worked good for me. Even today holding up well.
Is there an update on how is it holding up over the years?
You did a steel trowel finish on what looks like an inch per foot sloped concrete pad to enter your front door, that’s why you were slipping
How long did it take for this to dry? I want to do this to my moms porch but the front door is the main entry.
Looks good. But 2.5 gallons for that small space? 😩😨That sims a looot!
Thanks for video, I want to paint my front my front concrete stairs. Now I will try it.
I love it I hope it holds up in snow
how well is it holding up

Great simple video just what I was looking for.
It's comes in different colors?
Thank you so much for sharing, can i use this on my faded textures patio slabs please?
How is it now? How does it hold with weather?
How's it going at this 11th month mark if it's possible can you post an update in 7 months as to of the product starts to pop or fade.

@@StewartMotoring Thankyou for responding. What area of the US do you live in? (Do you have freeze thaw/salt)

How would it hold up on a driveway.
did you apply a bonding agent after etching the concrete before applying the paint??
I dont remember doing that, but we followed the instructions on the can. I could just be forgetting.
Hello. It's been about 2-years since you posted this video. How is it holding up? I am planning to do the same for my backyard patio.
Still doing real nice! No issues
That turned out super. I think I found the winner!
How did this hold up to winter and shoveling?
Looks nice... is it still in good condition?
Yes, it is
A good straight forward video. Thank you!
What type of roller did u use, thanks?
Does looks nice great work👍🏻
4 years later how did this hold up?
Doing great no issues
Can u use it in a concrete crawl space to help w humidity problems?
Where can we buy in the Philippines
Can I go right over old paint? Or do you think I need to remove the old paint?
I recommend reading the product label/instructions. They likely have instructions for application over a previously painted surface.
Is it slippery at all when you walk when wet or raining ?
Beautiful finish. Thanks for sharing.
How is this holding up?
How is it holding up 3 years later?
Goin Strong
Is it anti slip? How long has it lasted?
It’s anti slip. Still looks good today

Thanks because I'm about to fix my patio.
It says to apply 2 or 3 coats?
If I were to patch the cracks and pot holes in my concrete driveway and then applied this product do you think the patches would be noticeable even after 3 coats?
I am using Top n bond to patch up a crack and I was wondering the same thing.
Looks awesome 🎉
2 to 2.5 gallons? That is not alot of square footage?
Do we need to sand or primer it before applying this ?
You need to follow the instructions for cleaning and depending on the surface finish of your concrete you may need to acid etch which gives it a rougher finish for the coating to bond with. But no primer or sanding.
@@StewartMotoringThanks very much!!
Can you use ice melt in the winter on the finished product. Will it damage it? Thanks
I used salt on it this winter and no issues. Don’t know about “ice melt”
Thank you !
I used it and I am pleased. Just beware as he said in this video, it's thick. But overall I am happy with it.
Do tou got to paint it every year
I haven’t painted it since I posted this video. Honestly still looks very good
your garage floor needs that same treatment.
If you accidentally spatter granite grip on surrounding surfaces
What brush/roller did you all use?
Paint can recommends 3/4 adhesive roller.
Can i use this on my tile kitchen counter tops? Crazy question I know 😆
It’s a bit gritty for a kitchen I would think. You want the counter tops to be rough? But I’m just not sure if it’ll stick to a smooth surface...
@@StewartMotoring got it thank you!! Definitely will be using it for outside purposes.
Have you had a problem with it bubbling up?
No, still holding up good for me
What color did u use? And it looks like you should have replaced your porch posts beforehand

Would this seal up very fine cracks?
I would think so
Looks awsome does it seal like a drylock as well ?
Oh ya
how is the exposed pad holding up to the elements?
Looks great still. Just gave it a cleaning this spring as the walk path was a little darker. All is good so far still
Looks great 👍🏽 Good job 👍🏽
Did it peel off over time?
Still holding strong today
why dont you use the GARAGE floor epoxy paint it also has grit
No specific reason, I just didn’t come across that one in my search for concrete coatings. So it may work just fine too
Looks great up close
Do you think it would stick to painted cinder block or painted concrete??
I would think in order to get good adhesion you gotta remove the previous paint
