Swapping to wheel studs is well worth it if you need to change wheels at any consistent interval like tracking.
I also do 80ft lbs for torque just since its easier to get on the ole torque wrench and haven't had any issues with bolts or studs

Yeah, I don't understand why Lotus suggested such a low torque number. Unless they were using grease on the threads or something

Whenever I torqued my wheels to spec on my Evora they would make clicking noises in turns. After another half turn they were always quiet. I'm skeptical if Lotus thought through the wheel bolt torque spec rating.

I had an issue on track where I was taking an aggressive line over a curb and after that my wheel had a shimmy. It felt like it was out of balance.
I thought maybe I had lost a wheel weight. But no. I just had to loosen the wheel bolts and then tighten them back down and it re-centered the wheel. So I'm definitely on board for a bit More torque on the wheels.

Yoooooo IS THAT what the clicking is??? Ive been doing manual spec torque, but last time I heard clicking I took a look and found a rear right axle boot rip. I attributed it to that, but it has come back! I'm going to torque down and I'll check back in in a month.
Unless I have another boot rip 😅

Do you have any plans to do the plack exhaust? I've been thinking of it, and its not too pricey, I'm just afraid to go for it.

I have a Plack exhaust! Came with the car from the previous owner. It's as loud as you'd want it to be.

@@GoodmorningGoodnight Did they get the car tuned after it?

@@super679theoriginal not that I know of. The Plack is supposed to work without at tube. Louder and much lighter than stock. Also deletes one of the 3 catalytic converters.
My biggest problem with the Plack is that it's actually a little bit droney on highway trips. The drone occurs right around 3,000 RPM. But that's pretty much where you are on the highway all the time. And unless you shift down to a lower gear and run the RPMs up to 4,000rpm that drone pretty much is there.
So if you are going to do a lot of commuting in your car, I don't recommend the plack exhaust
